Ya I'd really love to see big air on Falls happen.

Good thing RCR doesn't own Beaver Creek! Seriously though that looked like a pretty bad hit. ++vibes...

got any new material?
-
Now you're catching on!

Sooooooo sick of hearing how bad things are gonna be before they even happen...

Then your point is poorly argued in this context, given that I've seen lots of people turn around and sell skis that you might find more desirable won at railjams, premiers, etc... Furthermore, people DO buy Atomic twins. You might not be that big a fan and I must admit that I'm not either, but they have a pretty big range in their freeride line that a lot of people like and have used succesfully.

When is the last time you saw someone win a pair of skis in a comp and not turn around and sell them? God forbid girls might come out to a comp...

Anyone interested at all? Gonna throw em up on e-bay in a few minutes if no one has any interest...

I've been on Dynastar Big Troubles for 2 years now and I've enjoyed them a lot. However, I think this year I'm gonna go for something a little softer like the Line Elizabeth. The big troubles are a little on the heavy side for me to want to be using them for hiking and getting into the backcountry all the time, but they are great for really ripping. Since you're a beginner you might find yourself enjoying a ski a little softer and lighter weight like the Salomon Gun that ski4food mentioned. This is one of the more popular hiking skis out west due to its light weight. No its not something I'd wanna straight line runs in AK with, but it would be a pretty good wide ski for a beginner. Another bonus is that there are tons of these on the barely used/backstock market, so you could likely find a decent deal on it. Keep checking tetongravity.com's gear swap forum. People are always selling old touring setups for south of $200 and this might be a good way to see if you like it.

If you sent them an e-mail they should e-mail you back. Bear Creek is very good about getting back to people on things like that.

If you look closely when you drive past the mountain you can see where the cement mixer is setup. Looks interesting....

Just got back from a quick run up to Blue. They blew a pretty insane amount of snow for their first night, so conditions must have been pretty good. Apparently they blew into the afternoon today as well. Talk in the ticket office is December 7th...

I'll be up at 10am...

Ya my lil bro scored 3 of those on woot.com the other day for like 80 a piece. Hes tryin to flip them on ebay. I stopped by Staples yesterday at like 8pm just to see if they had anything left and scored a 4gb compact flashcard for my camera for $37 all said and done. I saw a few places that were selling them for like $27 in the ads, but I don't think they were as nice as this one and I'll gladly pay $10 extra bux to walk in at 8pm and be the only one in the store rather than wakeup at 5am. It was marked down from like $100, and on the highest jpeg setting on my camera I can get 2,200 pics. Didn't really see much else cuz it looked like they took all the crazy deals away at like 11am, and I had no desire whatsoever to approach Best Buy or Circuit City.

Just rolled past Blue for the late night checkup. Blowing on tubing, half of main street, midway into main, and it looked like some runs up top, probably Vista, Easy Out, and Come Around. Also had the fan gun at the bottom of the six pack runnin'. Stoked...

I dig the section where they have what features are out. Better than the old one thats for sure.

If you were planning on using this as your out west or up north 10+ inches of snow ski, then you'll be upset. If you're mostly gonna use it here with maybe one or two days in deeper snow you'll appreciate how much easier it is to whip around here in the more forward position.

If there is one thing that Josh from Snowgrind can do, it is cut a pipe. Blue's pipe was a hidden gem for a solid 3-4 weeks last year. However, werd on the streets was that Seven Springs pipe was dope last year. Not only that, but they had 2. One with perfect 18' walls and the other setup as an intro type pipe. For now it sounds like seven springs is the place to be for a pipe in PA. I'm tryin to get out there at least once this year cuz the girl is in Pittsburgh.

Love how people call throwing a big bonfire and movie premier for some early season stoke "underdelivering..." I heard that event was a blast, even CNN covered it!
