  1. Dude I forgot that was Cinco de Mayo... Hmmm I guess that means KT is driving and we're bringing a power converter, blender, cooler, margherita mix, and tequila...
  2. The general rule to claiming a trick is having a witness.
  3. I've requested to get into this cult like twice! Am I being given a hint that I am not welcome there since I haven't received an invite??? I'd love to go over some of the info there...
  4. Ya. There is a thread on this topic already... I tried to dig it up and merge the two but I can't seem to find it real quick. Anyone remember what it was called? Had some good reactions on this topic. Whats your career Lando??? When I have a little more time tonight I wanna dig around for a thread to link up from www.mtbr.com and find a similar case in downhill mountain biking where . That thread went on for soooo many pages. Guy ended up with a similar injury and sued because he had to pay his bills. He was an avid biker and hated to sue but there was really going to be no other way that he was going to be able to pay for the necessary medical bills and the needed upgrades to his house. When that case first became news there was a very similar reaction, "what a tool!! this guy is going to ruin it for everyone!!" etc...
  5. I like where this is going...
  6. In my opinion the best park will be the one with the longest and steepest landings. Camelback's got the equipment to do it but...
  7. You suck Jeff. Get some real skis...
  8. Stevo, Changed link and it wasn't working. Link in your other post was working so I left that up. I tried it a few different ways and I don't think it likes the hyper link cuz the page loads when the url is all typed out but doesn't load through a link. -trev

Sounds good Kevin. I think I'm just gonna go for the Totem coil. I've been lookin' around a lot at the air stuff, but decided to stay with coils all around on my bike. They are just soooo worry free, and I'm sure you know from workin' at a shop that mechanics take better care of their customers stuff than their own. I get like zero time to work on my shit. Basically I don't wanna be out in Whistler with my bike and blow out an air fork or shock and be forced to shell out 700 bux just so I can ride the rest of the week.
  10. Ya Whistler wasn't really lookin' like it was going to happen, but then we read some stuff about Blackcomb staying open and it totally re-energized the whole trip. John still isn't going cuz from day one this year he said he was too busy and can't afford it, but thats what credit cards are for right??? We booked airfare last night, roundtrip to Seattle for $200. Then we're splitting a rental car, two nights in Whistler (two are already paid for), and some other stuff between five guys. It is gonna be a sick time for sure. Four days of the finest spring skiing there is. I'll be at the shop from 10-5.
  11. No dice anymore... I'm not headin' up. I didn't get the tickets in the mail. I guess USPS is takin' long cuz Greg told me he got them out on Wednesday and it shouldn't have taken more than two days from his place to Abington but they weren't here today sooooo.... The mail comes tomorrow between 9am and 10am so I guess I could still go, but then I wouldn't get there till like 11:30 at the soonest. I just told my boss ten minutes ago that I need the hours so I got put on the schedule for tomorrow, and it is supposed to be windy as hell tomorrow from this nor'easter so my panties aren't in that big a twist over missin' Boulder. Gotta make money for Whistler in May...

Werd son. PS I'm deleting your cell number from PASR, you don't want half these creeps knowin' that... Oh, and PS #2: I'm chillin' at work today, and gettin' ready to order up a fork for my bike. And I'm kinda broke as f*ck right now so I was just gonna get a sick deal on the Rockshox Domain, their entry level 7" single crown fork. My boss goes, "yo man don't get that fork, get something good" and I'm like dude I am sooo broke you don't understand... Then he goes "I'll pay the difference between that fork and a Totem." Sooooo stoked!!! I should have my bike runnin' by next weekend I hope.

Boyer, pm me your cell number or I'll get it from John. We gotta hook up with Kevin (kcorrigan) from Blue too... -Trevor
  14. Ya Doug thats what I'd wanna move to Alaska for, butter boxes and rails... Hahaha...
  15. Nahhh I could prolly beat all three of those in terms of last minute trips I've done. And the times I've gone to Vermont I've spent close to what I've spent when I've flown out to Utah or Canada. Yes you can do it on the uber cheap but what fun is that?

My bike isn't built up yet you ass... I'm waitin' on fork and shock, and can't buy either cuz of Whistler. I'm tryin' to sell the rear shock that came on my new frame. It is a Manitou Swinger 4-Way Coil... You know anyone that might be interested??? its 8.5" eye to eye and 2.5"stroke.
  17. Blackcomb in mid-May son!!! Amazing how a little press release on Newschoolers about the Blackcomb parks staying open can make seven kids who had given up on going to Whistler this May change their minds.
  18. I'll be up on Saturday with an unspecified amount of free tickets. If you don't know who I am or what I wear, your loss. Just playin'. They are first come first served style. And I'll post a time when I'm planning on being outside the Glass House. -Trev
  19. Yaaaaa. I'd say the hairiest skiing I ever had was Chamonix, France. Icy, pelting snow, zero visibility, and following the guy I was staying with down some pretty badass chutes. I was at Stowe when I was a kid and was there with my little brother so didn't really get to see any of the stuff I've heard about from my buddies in Vermont. I have the opportunity to go to Tuck's at the end of this month, which is a yearly thing that some friends of mine do, but with exams and all my other stuff I can never make it. I've also never been able to make it up to Jay, but my one friend from school who is from Burlington is always buggin' me to come up and ski a real EC mountain. Ya I've seen Meathead's stuff. Definitely good fun flicks. However, I'm just kinda waitin' to get back out west where I don't have to drive 12 hours to ski decent stuff. Biggest turnoff of the East Coast is the amount of driving you have to do to get to anything decent. With gas on its way to $4 a gallon thats a bit of a hindrance. Show me where the good stuff is Lando, and we'll see if you can keep up! Oh, and sweet pics!!!
  20. Its arguable that I haven't gone to the right places (Tuckermans, Jay, parts of Mt. Mansfield, etc...), but I've found that I really haven't been too challenged by just about anything I've skied on the East coast. That being said, Okemo is one of my favorite eastern mountains because many of their trails have fun fall lines that make skiing fast a big thrill. That place is good fun.
  21. There were posts like this during the season... As far as most of us know there doesn't seem to be much of a management presence from Blue on PASR anyway. They get most of their information via e-mail and I don't know where else. Nah... I don't think anythings goin' down.
  22. Bummer...
  23. Ya. You're right. You didn't. My fault man.
  24. You know how much it costs to make some of those rails??? They care, but there is a lack of communication between the riders and management. This topic has been beat to death in the Blue forum. You'll get torn apart for this... Hahaha...
