Thank god. Really don't need reasons to make poor decisions...

You should definitely do it, but not with Doug considering his response. Amazing scenery and amazing sidetrips. Even if you guys go for a whole week you could ski one or two days and then take advantage of all the other stuff in the area. My family and I went up to Yellowstone and had an amazing time. There are National Parks, spas, ranches, resorts, shops, hotels, etc... I definitely consider Wyoming among the most visually striking places in the US in terms of scenery and landscape. Never know how much longer they'll let you snowmobile or snowcat into Yellowstone. Do it sooner rather that later. Environmentally speaking its not the best thing, but I'll never forget the time I did it...

No. There will be many different manufacturers there. When I talked to the guys last weekend it sounded like a good amount of them are planning on coming. I'm a little bit worried about the holiday weekend but I think it'll be okay.

I'll be up Saturday morning at opening and skiing for about 30 minutes to an hour before I'm running demos the rest of the day until about 2 or 3.

7 springs is reporting 49 inches since jan 1. Skied about boot deep this morning for first trax. Good times for pa... pics to follow...
-
Hahaha. You might get more for Doug's signature.
-
I will be there with an assortment of Line Skis. I will see who else is planning on coming and let everyone know.

We are out 20-25th

I know what you meant, but technically speaking, you're wrong. "Over 7000 acres covering three mountains adds up to the most skiable terrain in the US."

Yes yes and yes. The cliffy stuff is a great photo-op spot if you're just trying to get some good air photos from your trip. Pretty much something anyone can drop there and take pretty big if they want. Stuff that is over towards Solitude is a blast with consistent nice pitch decent runs but sometimes a bitch of a walk out.

One of my faves is off the Millicent chair at Brighton.

No kidding. I've been saying that for years but these clowns won't listen... x1

Thread cleaned up

I was up last night from 4-7pm for first turns at Blue this year. Didn't hit any rails but spent most of the evening sliding sideways.

Nice writeup. Those will be sweet in VT. Those heaters + Intuition liners would be like a sweat lodge in Arizona...

I'm schedule to fly out of Philly @ 6:30am Saturday morning... oh boy

Disclaimer: I appreciate your enthusiasm for teaching. I've taught skiing for many years and enjoy sharing my love of the sport with others. That being said, I don't expect you to appreciate my sense of humor. Click here

Sooooo anyway. I do think the idea is very positive. Sure, you run the risk of a few people being offended at being offered (note: not told that they need) a free lesson, but I think most people will walk away feeling really good about their experience up at the mountain. I could be wrong, but its one of those things you won't have any info on until you try it.

It doesn't really address the design nature of your complaint, but from conversations I've had Blue is planning to have someone constantly working on keeping the Web site very current information wise.
