I'll give that one to ya cuz you don't ski park. I've never slid concrete on em. I don't tend to switch up a whole lot which is really what puts a ton of stress on the edges. I don't do a ton of corked out tricks which would have my landing on the tips and tails all the time, etc.... Ya I've hit rails and jumps on em. But compared to alot of my friends I baby my gear. Maybe not a good comparison for me to make.

Werd up. I haven't looked at em in a while but if they are more beat up than I remember I'll definitely drop the price accordingly. I tend to baby my stuff.

Ya I didn't get to CB so have no say on that. I'm not into the ridable mini pipes.

figments are sooo nice. I love mine. Nice pickup.

I've had good and bad days at Bear. Sometimes the place is great and sometimes its not so great. Just like every other hill I've ever skied. If I'm coming from Philly or Pottstown in your case, and just tryin to hit a few jumps and jibs, then I'd definitely go to Bear as it is closer than Blue. However, if I also wanna get some fast runs in and get some good turns, then Blue takes the cake. Last year the pipe was pretty bad at BC, at Blue, and just about everywhere in the Poconos. Since just about everyone invested some money into their pipes last year, and then didnt have the conditions to make that worthwhile, I don't think any mountains pipe could be ranked after last season. Ya there is a little vibe between BC and Blue riders. We ride each others stuff almost weekly and some of us work for our respective mountains, so its just friendly banter aside from this kid no one likes named Dorsey... On the hill we all ride together. If you're interested in coaching freeride skiing at Blue on weekends shoot me a pm.

Ya I'll have some by this weekend. I posted now just in case anyone is looking and I just wanted to gauge interest. People are selling these on ebay right now used with demo bindings for $350, what a scam. Right now mine are drilled for a 25.5 Rossi shell. I'm not positive of the shell length on that shell.

Ya I'm like 5'7" and would ride a 153cm board. My skis are 176cm.
-
Ya they'd be good for someone like 5'3" to 5'8". I picked up a ski this year thats a bit longer and I'm going to center mount it. I really only spent December, part of January, March, and May on this pair.
-
Sellin' last years Trouble Makers in a 165cm size with Look P10 bindings. Bindings are mounted 3cms forward, which is right about 4cm back from center. Thats where Dynastar recommends for both park and all mountain, so thats where I put em. One year left on warranty as ski is mounted with a Look binding. Would like to see $200.

They consistently get rated the best all mountain twin year after year. I bought a pair the first year Volkl made them and was amped to get on them but unfortunately they were drilled through when I had them mounted and could not get another pair. They are pretty stiff which is why they are rated so high for all mountain. They'll handle the pow fine, they'll rip groomers, and be a pretty good everything ski. They're not gonna butter or jump as well as a more park specific ski, but they'll keep up with if not surpass alot of the more mountain oriented skis of the same size and specs. If you can't have a pow/ripping ski and a park only ski, then that is definitely the ski I'd buy. Papasteeze skis a pair. I'm sure he'll have some better input for ya.

That may not be the greatest deal if they are last years skis. Last years Invaders have the black, white, and some pink on the topsheet. This years have a greenish topsheet graphic. Last year almost everyone who skied them had issues with the nose and tail de-laminating and Line is warranteeing all the skis that had that issue from last year. However, I believe they are only doing that past a certain point this year. If you buy last years skis, and they come apart in say March, you could be SOL.

Yo man if you want snowblades I have a pair that I'll gladly sell you. My mom is 5 foot and skiing 160s just fine. All the advice we've given you should give you no doubt about buyin a 161 Invader. Go for it!!!
-
If you are a even a semi strong skier you'll want the 161s. As has been said center mounted skis ride alot shorter than they really are. I'm like 5'7" and my 165s feel like snowblades. I'm bumpin it up to like 176 on all my boards this year. If you're really pushin your skis hard then go for the 161, if you want something a bit easier to manuever, then the 151s will do the trick fairly well.

X Games announcers don't know much....

Take a lap behind my Big Troubles. The tail is 5mm higher than the tip and 112mm wide. They throw up some serious rooster. I clipped a guys pass for snowin a kid in one of my lessons once. I don't bother yellin at people on Lazy cuz its not a slow skiing trail, but if you're on Burma or Paradise and you do somethin that aint kosher to my lesson, you're done... I don't think lines will be a problem this year Rob... You still gonna work in explorers? I don't know if your hazing period is over...
-
Maybe we should make him some type of faq on the park? Nah theres gotta be one out there somewhere. Maybe on NS? Also, a 50/50 on a rail if you are wearing skis is not viewed as an acceptable manuever. If it was cool, you would still see everyone doing it. The exception to this rule is kids under the age of say 8 or 9.
-
I'd really like to come up but don't know if I'm gonna make it. I need to find some new boards for my pops. Darn....
-
"Jump, hit, kicker, etc..." have seemed to work fine for years...
-
There are two other rails in the corner of that pic but they look like old stuff.
-
Doug beat ya to it...
-
It doesn't matter if you're short, if you weigh too much for the junior skis you'll blow em apart.
-
I had these listed last winter, and still have em. New in box Oakely A Frames. Overcast frame, persimmon lens, black strap. Sixty bills and their yours.

No doubt. If you had something closer to a 180ish I'd definitely take a pair off your hands for my dad.
