Most likely someones little bro or son. Not that hes not very very talented, but thats what you tend to see when kids have that many sponsors at a young age. I do agree, I think the rail off the cliff was my favorite feature.

Haha thats cuz they don't go over 50 in their Subie wagons so nothing can happen! Ask Atomic about two lane Vermont roads in his cars. No doubt that BB is gonna see a huge improvement this year. With all these park improvements locally, there is sure to be a ton of product waiting to be won at comps.

K2's suggested mounting line is usually quite far back from center to begin with, noticably so than other manufacturers, so on K2's it usually doesnt hurt if you go a few cm's toward center. Find out where the suggested line is, and then find out where center is, and measure the distance. I split this measurement on my parks skis last year and had a decent season with them. However, I'll probably go center with my park setup this year, as I have more than one pair of skis. With this in mind, better advice could be given by the guys and girls on here if you listed your height and how long the skis are. If you're six foot and the Fujatives are like 169cm, then you definitely won't want to go center, because you won't have nearly enough tip, especially for anything out of the park. When mounting center, you can safely ski a setup that is a few centimeters bigger than what you normally would, because you don't have such an imbalance between tip and tail to muscle around. Another thing related to backcounty is the flex of that ski. The Fujative has a pretty soft flex. This is fine for days where its waist deep and your gettin first tracks, but if stuff is tracked out or crusty at all, then game over. Same goes for when you're trying to put the ski up on edge and blow through crud. A ski like the Public Enemy (to use another K2 twin example) is going to handle those types of conditions better and if you're going with a one ski quiver this year may suit you alot better. Good luck!

Dude I thought that was awesome. I just didn't like buzzing bee noise, it got really annoying.

Looks like the next Candide. Like I've said before, maybe I should just stick to the groomers...
-
Eh... Thats the program name. We have a crew we ski with alot outside of that.

Most mountains also give employees a place to store their gear, thus making their walk much easier becuase they are usually only bringing a backpack to work. Customers with armloads of kids and heavy gear should definitely have first dibs all the closest spots. Awesome that this became a parking thread.

Ohhhh thats the one I saw already. Lovin' it. I don't think I can do a whole roundtop weekend to see the premiere too, but wish I could. Us Blue locals need a cool name...

werd. paving is the best thing any mountain can do that is parking related.

I dont think you'll have to worry about the slang term "gaper" being posted anywhere. Just a term to describe a group of people.
-
Papa................. Slow day at the office? From now on you're not allowed to use any slang term unless you are using it with its proper definition implied. Have fun!

x1. Thats a big part of the Smart Style argument. The people that the message needs to reach the most have no idea how to interpret the lingo. Clearer signs might help.

I'd like to think that their is something we can do to cut down on the issue with gapers in the park. If we do something that cuts down on 1 out of 5 people that are in the park that shouldn't be there, then thats one step closer to the goal. We all know what the ultimate solution is, but its just not part of the picture this year.

Nice! I just picked up a pair of the Salomon Dialogues, I guess its the crappier version of those, real similar design though. Sooooooo comfortable, which is just what I was lookin' for. Probably just gonna get a real jibby board and just have fun with it when I'm not skiin'.

Ya mine all went straight in the closet. How do you guys find different skis holding up to storage? My Dynastars rust like crazy.

Wonder what time those helis are gonna be comin round. I definitely wouldn't mind filmin some of that.
-
Lets get a new thread created for the newer pics! Can't wait to see some. I'm gonna give Blue a call and see if they have times for those Helis that are comin in.

Guys and girls, as I've asked a few times in this thread, please do not debate for or against park passes in this thread. If you would like to do so, please create a new thread or rehash one of the old ones. No one cares what you have to say about it here. In regards to this thread, this is all you need to know: "Park Passes will not be instituted. We are still considering some sort of "deterrent" at the start, to discourage opportunists . It would be great if you all can use this thread to convey your ideas. Please be civil to each other . so that it is not locked down again." Any further posts that mention passes in the context of a debate runs a high risk of vanishing.

All depends on the model too. There are great models and models that are absolute crap within company lineups. Volkls Unlimited skis were probably the worst midfats that I have ever demoed. However, their race tiger stuff is awesome. Too bad Atomic doesn't come out for a lot of product demos where I ski.

Hey man thanks for the input. Blue has already decided that park passes won't be offered at Blue this season, so thats not what this thread is about. This is more of a suggestion thread. What we are looking for is ideas to cut down on some of the "gapers," or people who have the right to be in the park, but shouldn't necessarily be there. It is the belief of many riders up at Blue that quite a few people end up in the higher level park without much knowledge of how to properly navigate that environment. Like you mentioned, it is a problem that people don't know how to use some of the features in the higher level park, and what we are fishing for are suggestions as how to educate people on park etiquette, and prevent them from getting in over their head.

AHH I love that trail. Back in the 90s when The Canyons was Wolf Mountain, and before that Park City West, that trail used to be called Spider Monkey. The ultimate natural pipe trail.

Couldn't agree more for the mountains around us (Eastern seaboard). As I've mentioned before. Bear Creek seems to be one of the biggest factors in Blue investing so much into their parks in the last two years. It will be really fun to see what kind of influence Park Logic may have on our immediate area.

They might not snap but they sure do bend! Kinda reminds me of one of those rubber figures with the wire inside. I think that ski is gonna run away from you Jeff.
