I have a brand new pair of Konflicts I'm looking to get rid of. Size 25.5... I know its a midget size but I wear an 8-8.5 street shoe just to get you an idea of fit...

At least someone saw them!!! I've never been at a Red Bull sponsored event where finding Red Bull was so difficult. At last years Buckmans event people were literally OD'ing on the stuff...

Thanks so much for putting this on John!!!

So even though I am insanely jealous, I thought it was dope that my company had MSP's Claim on at lunch in the cafeteria. Never expected to walk into the cafeteria and see a ski movie from this season playing on two tvs and over the loudspeakers... Maybe the whole job thing ain't that bad if they keep this up...

I thought that too, but the Bird was open til July like the season before last... Not sure if it was weekends only or what... It may also have something to do with the permits they both hold because they both are in designated forest lands... Wasatch National Forest?

I see nothings changed... -
Awesome thread to start my work day off to. Your da man Glenn! Thanks! Where can I get one of those scooters??? I don't think that would hurt my knee too much...
-
Wow that sucks man... Not a cheap repair at all, but if you fixed it and made sure you watched the fluid levels and changed the oil you would get at least another 100,000 out of that car. As long as the block isn't shot. All aluminum motor... No doubt. There are a TON of Subarus in CO.

You killed a 2.2 engine?! How many miles are on that piece?

Carfax!?!?!?! I have carfax times twenty at work... I know all...

Likely, but not always true... I've seen people take their skiing to a totally different level when around people that are MUCH better than them, even when not competing. I'm sure some of the PASR crew in CO can attest to this. Its always fun when an 'unknown' wins a relative big comp. X-games skiing halfpipe anyone?

I want photos...

Screw pattern is supppper wide. I would put people on a 100mm waist ski during demos with a Salomon binding, and then put them on the same ski with a Jester, and I got an overwhelming response in favor of the Jesters. People said that it was easier to ski, turned better, held an edge better, felt more solid, etc... The knee is pretty good with just getting around, but unfortunately I don't think I'm gonna see the slopes again this season. I was told that light biking would be good for it, so I think I'm gonna get out on Saturday to enjoy this spring-like weekend. Not sure how and when I'm gonna get surgery. Definitely agree with that phantom foot. Thats exactly what I felt. I was leaning back a little bit, and it felt like my leg was bent in a 45 degree angle when my knee gave out to the inside. Ai yai yai...

I skied them this year and really liked the way they skied. Never had a release in them, which is unfortunate because I usually like to get an idea of how predictable the release is. I was very happy with my old P series Look bindings, but just wanted something new. The Jesters are lightweight, have very positive engagement upon stepping in, provide a solid platform for the ski, and are pretty bombproof. I blew my knee out in them, but the way I fell I wouldn't blame it on the binding... That is one of those things that is speculative though. I fell in a super weird way and didn't really feel like I was putting much force on the the binding. It was more my upper body putting the force right onto my knee. Every other time I've come out of a binding it has been a twisting force. This felt just like I was going down straight on top of the ski, and unfortunately no binding would release in that case. Boo...

No doubt! Last year the jam was by no means taking up spots they might have lost to customers. I bought some things at the mall that day, ate in the food court, and brought some other folks with me. Its gonna be more difficult to convince more spectators to come up to Boulder... dumb x1

Before I skied Mt. Mikovits I was jaded on skiing the east. As a recent transplant from the steep and deep faces of coastal BC, the Cascade Range, and the Rockies; I just couldn't get it up from skiing in PA. This all changed when I first skied at Mt. Mik. It is truly a lifechanging experience. Thanks Mt. Mik! edit: bored at the office...
