My parents went a few years ago for a weekend and loved it, we were supposed to go back like 2 weeks ago but b.c I couldn't ski they didn't see much sense in going. If you do go though I recommend, "planning the vacation" through the resort and stay there, it gets you into all the activities. If you go on their website and say you are interested you get a pretty nice size package of information in the mail along with a dvd of all the activities. It?s an awesome trip and it is ranked the number one family resort in the east if not the country. It?s really really nice, has great deals (we had a slope side condo to sleep 6, 4 lift tickets, 4 lessons for everyday we were there (4days)) and all on site activities are included for like 1500$ or something like that. And as long as you call a week prior to ur arival date you can get a full refund.

If we are doing this for fun does it really matter whether or not you have a medal or not, yes it is rewarding to say look I got a medal, but it's not about the medal it's about whether or not you can go out and have fun regardless of your ability.

if ur not totaly picky putting ur name on ur skis and boards would prolly also help, even if they do get stolen finding them would be much easier if you say look my name is written on them, or a letter that is normaly one color is another color. all my skis have either my name on them or a letter colored in with a sharpy marker

how many gates were gone by the end of the night, and who was breaking them? On tuesday the only kids there were like J3's and girls, and normaly they don't break to many gates it's normaly the older guys.

wow, so i see WW3 broke out, it took me a good 10 mins to read all the posts and all i have to say is you ppl really know how to bitch, you should join speech and debate....i prolly screwed a bunch of words up but i dont' care BTW, go ski Tussey out by pennstate and get hurt, u'll never complain about a ski resort like blue or CB ever again. My dad said the guy bringing me down fell.....
-
u've got lines, send em back and they will give you the same ski free of charge except shipping. i know three kids who have sent them back, and yes it will work.

you guys are making this sooo much better, i'm getting the surgrey, and if you follow docs orders and wear braces there is a 10% chance u tear it again, you also arn't supossed to do things with out braces that have alot of impact on ur knees.
-
well get better fast! you have a SL race next weekend
-
nothing up yet, but if it gets posted, i'll put it up, unless he gets home before that.

they arn't big about putting them on sweatshirts, they would much much much rather have it attatched to a jacket. but i've seen people go as far as swithcing jackets, the one time i saw a mom and dad with two younger (like 4) children take one child out, then come back in and switch the jacket and the dad would then take the other child out back and forth all night. Pretty smart if you ask me.

good luck dude, i'll be there sunday i think

1. you can find something to do even if you can't ski.....yeah i still go up ppl look at me funny but i have fun. 2. those hidden middle trails can be lots of fun after about 5ish.... 3. Hot guys.......from ESU 4. Really nice runs if you get there early before the crowd skis them off(on the weekends) 5. you can get in and outa the bathrooms with out waiting on line....there is nothing i hate more then leaving my skis at base with friends running in to go to the bathroom to find out that i'm ganna have to wait 5 mins in line just to get into the bathroom.

the MRI pics are awsome....i'm thinkabout framing one....hehe the pain killers are working wonderfully so it's not that painful, and the doctor said that after the frist week almost all pain susides so.....now the pain killers are for the swelling that isn't going down to fast....they are slightly worried about that

it's riped right in half. the first doctor said the ACL was damaged. the 2nd doctor confirmed it was riped in half, the 3rd doctor is the one doing the operation and he also confirmed that it was not fluid in the knee and that in fact the ACL was totaly torn in two.

i've seen three doctors that all say if i would like to continue skiing for the rest of my life i will need the surgery, if anything it is becoming a very common surgery. the guy who is doing mine has been doing one a week sence august or so. if you don't have the surgery done then you will end up with ostioprosis(sp) much earlier. my Aunt has had it done twice and has had great results. My parents thought that for all the activity i do that they would much rather have me have surgery then not. i've delt with the doctor who is doing the surgery a few times before and the or nurse will most likely be my one of my friend's mom.

thats one of the coolest parts about this, just to be able to say you have screws in your knees
-
I go in March 8th and come out with two screws and a new ACL that afternoon...

i don't think we will get that, but my dad didn't really care about that fee
