Congrats, @PSUFly - the official bamboo measuring stick says 8.5”. There were 30” drifts and areas of grass showing. I wouldn’t say the storm was a bust, but it definitely did not meet expectations.

I saw it on the news. There were huge lines in Texas and a bunch of other states. I guess it depends what news you look at. But any opportunity to take a jab at the media, right?

Windy here too. Of my 3 test locations, it looks like the back deck is the most sheltered based on the direction of the wind. It seems like my measurements will be taken there.

For the places that aren't following these restrictions, it makes me wonder what other restrictions and guidelines they aren't following. Are they cleaning their tap lines, storing food properly?
