  1. Hope you feel better and I hope that it isn't COVID.
  2. Good question. The "bubble method" seems to be working well so far for NBA and MLS teams. Not sure how effective that would be with the NFL...
  3. Phillies / Yankees game canceled.
  4. Our beets are coming in nicely this year. We planted a mix of Detroit Red and Golden. This is just about 5% of our total beet crop. Pumped to cook these tonight.
  5. This season is going to end fairly quickly....
  6. Till or turn the soil 12-16” deep immediately before planting. That will give them loose soil to grow freely. Once the plant is 6-12” out of the ground, mound dirt around them so the potatoes stay covered from sunlight.
  7. 3 of the 6 yellow squash we pulled from the garden tonight. Beets and potatoes should be coming out soon too.
  8. I think its still Carney, so D. Of course a Carney is gonna let the carnie go on.
  9. I can't believe that we are still having conversations about closing high-risk places and wearing masks while confirmed cases here continue to spike and the EU is pretty much under control - comparatively speaking. Those places aren't learning to live with it, they took care of it when they should have.
  10. I saw that. And the tough guys on social media who call people snowflakes continue to melt down over a team changing their name. I love it. Seattle got a new NHL team today too. Opening day for baseball. Lots going on in the sports world. Hopefully COVID doesn't end these already abbreviated seasons.
  11. It should be virtually but low income and underprivileged folks will fall back even more. It is such a difficult decisions because of the safety perspective but minorities will suffer overall in the Allentown SD.
  12. I'm so fucking slow and shitty at DH that there would be a line of people behind me. One of the reason's why I stopped. That, and multiple concussions.
  13. HIV vaccines are incredibly difficult to develop because the virus is highly mutable and the epitopes of the viral envelope are super inconsistent, so recognition of B and T cells is really difficult. As of right now, none of those irregularities has been identified with the COVID virus, making it more likely do develop a vaccine quickly. Because it is still so new to researchers I would not be surprised of there are changes of the virus that are impacting their R&D of a vaccination. That being said, I think by the time a COVID vaccine becomes readily available to common folks like us, there will be plenty of testing done post-FDA approval.
  14. Probably safe with the exception of touching the lift bars and such. I can't imagine they are wiped down after somebody rides up. I haven't ridden downhill there in two years because I sold my bike, but if you are just getting into biking, Blue might not be the best place to go unless you have the proper biker and gear.
  15. 711 new cases in PA - confirming that Wawa is definitely better than 7-11.
  16. These are probably the same people that complain that there are restrictions in place and going back to previous restrictions.
  17. Same. I don't know if the new guidance was clear on how they can operate, unfortunately.
  18. That is what I figured. The club I used to belong to was just like that but I haven't been there in years so I'm not sure what it looks like now.
  19. I chuckled at this.
  20. How does that work? Just a giant bar?
