  1. It will be embarrassing enough cramming your family into saltyant’s car and burning out in the winner’s circle.
  2. Fucking peel out in Salty's car!
  3. Of course. It drains very well. I appreciate your concern.
  4. This could get interesting...
  5. I don't think so. It is 2.5 miles (I think) but I know Talladega is the biggest. Not sure about the road courses, though. I'm not a huge Nascar follower but @Benm would probably know.
  6. Saw that coming, but glad it will still be held so it can rain in turn 2 while the rest of the track stays dry, like always.
  7. Take it to the dam son thread.
  8. @JFskiDan I know you love some steam. This is a great clip: https://vimeo.com/421190821/3759c66dcf?fbclid=IwAR0Q5wXjZ6jWMMPj45TmJCpgM233LP62zLMraeHFgdPmLXfcfqIfqlrrlOQ
  9. Not recently. Not since high school, actually.
  10. Towns around here are discussing that as well. I think that would be a great way to expand seating for places that used to just have a few cafe table on sidewalks.
  11. Not for a while. It’s going to be packed when outdoor seating opens because it will be limited. Next we’ll see pictures of crowded waiting areas.
  12. 625 new cases today. Not bad. Better than expected, IMO. Especially being 2+ weeks after the mothers day weekend gatherings
  13. Will there be times when you do have to go in? Working from home in your situation now is like being given the gift of time. Much better gift than Frontier miles.
  14. For those familiar with the Lehigh Gap, there are foundation remains along the D&L trail right by one of the parking lots. That structure used to be a freight station. These are the first pictures that I’ve seen of that station other than the ones on the information marker at the site.

  16. wow have a blast! Wear a helmet.
  17. I imagine the money saved from driving in daily is more than the slight utility increase from working at home.
  18. And the majority of people suck at Zoom / video meetings. Just fucking @mute1080 yourself. Especially older folks (no offense).
  19. I think this has made a lot of companies realize that employees can be just as productive from home. It took me a bit of time but I know I have adjusted well and seem to have created even more flexibility than I have been able to before. Of course I realize that is not as easy for everyone or applicable to all professions, but I still think some organizations are going tone more open to the option in the future - pandemic or not.
  20. Not as bad as I anticipated. Tomorrow might be similar.
  21. I'm not going to judge anybody who is wearing a mask when it may seem odd to. You never know if someone is immunocompromised or living with people who are. I know a lot of my friends who are nurses and physicians wear masks often because of their potential exposure. As for people yelling across the street at others to put on their mask... they sound like absolutely miserable people.
