what a stupid approach. That definitely could result with them moving on with their life... for good.

Take a drive up to Eight Oaks! Its a really nice drive up 309. While there, go for a hike at the Knob which is nearby.

lol I'll never forget the emergency press conference the following day to spew lies about the size of the crowd. Knew it was all downhill from there. RIP Sean Spicer

We all wish you did!

Luckily I'm not even remotely near the risk of getting less than the potential maximum amount.

I believe funds will still be distributed to individuals who make up to $99k and families $198k, just lesser amounts.
-
Yeah you have to get it from the location, though. I think they have a spot at Allentown Farmers Market as well, if that is still open.
-
Same thing with billion dollar businesses that are requesting funds too, right? Maybe they shouldn't have been eating all of that avocado toast and drinking lattes.
-
I think all go the distilleries in the LV have switched to that too. Eight Oaks is a local place that really jumped out early to do this and is producing a ton of products, so I gave them a couple bucks to continue doing that and bought a bottle of bourbon. Win-win. Cool place to hang in the summer, too.

It is crazy how many people have been sewing masks for protection! They are all over social media and it is awesome to see people stepping up. The masks that people are sewing are most likely not medical grade or appropriate for providers to wear in high-risk areas, but I admit that I don't know what materials or guidelines they are following (if any). Interesting study done about cloth masks here. They still provide protection, but if I am working in the field or clinically I would want proper PPE.

I've seen so many businesses step up and do things like this and donate extra supplies and food and whatnot. It makes me want to support them more than those who aren't doing anything once this is over.

Well, it really isn't going to be possible to test everyone and is somewhat unrealistic. While Donald may not have been quick to take this seriously, the way the testing is being done now is much better than it was before. That's why the social isolation is super important. 2-3 weeks of isolating should limit the transmission if people actually distance themselves. That is the best way to 'contain' the virus without wasting important tests on everyone.
-
In other COVID-19 news, the stimulus bill passed unanimous in the senate late last night and it has some pretty significant implications for those who are unemployed because of this. So props to them for actually getting something done.

People traveling from NYC have to quarantine for 14 days. You can’t shut the bridges and tunnels because the people that work in the essential businesses like hospitals most likely aren’t living where they can walk to them. And sure, the Florida gov may be pissed, but he’s the idiot that allowed the beaches in Florida to stay open for the idiots like the kid @indiggio posted.

St Luke’s sponsors some of their learning programs.

😂😂😂 Your search history must be pretty interesting if algorithms came up with that! I may be slightly drunk, but I’m kinda jealous

Same could be said for any test where you are looking at viral load assay. Those cases are not common at all - especially because we are only testing people with active symptoms.
-
I read that it is because of their focus on early testing, so they are able to identify people and monitor those who test positive before it becomes emergent. The US mortality rate isn’t terrible right now, but remember we are still behind countries like Italy and Spain (who also have older demographics) Hopefully it doesn’t get like that here.
-
Not 100% but they continue to report more cases daily even if the numbers are small. Getting accurate data is difficult from every country. I don’t think their numbers are drastically underreported, though.
-
You’re right. That chart actually shows that things are worse here when compared to countries like China who has a population 40% larger than ours while our diagnosed case rate continues to rise. China has a case rate of about 1 per ~18k persons while the US has 1 per ~5k persons if my quick calculations are accurate. Particularly concerning since diagnosed cases continue to rise and our hospitals are maxed.

lol okay.
