  1. There are a lot of those people in this country.
  2. A fatal accident involving a 17-year-old boy was reported Tuesday at Blue Mountain Resort, said Carbon County Coroner Robert Miller Jr. A deputy coroner was dispatched to St. Luke’s Hospital-Palmerton about 1 p.m. because of the accident, according to Miller, who said he was just learning details of it. 3. When you get ideas and narrow things down if possible, let us know about it here. Between all of us, we have covered a lot of the places to ski out west.
  4. Awesome! Great idea to keep this thread alive! my favorite picture from the last year is this picture of my wife and I hiking in CB. There are a lot of good pictures that bring back memories from this year’s adventures, but this one captures everything and makes me smile every time I see it.
  5. If we didn't mix it up with various lifts, today would have gotten old pretty damn fast. Nice to get a change of scenery around the same old place.
  6. And didn’t share.
  7. Utah is easy to get to and lots of variety. Can’t go wrong with any choice you make. Get out west if you can, but if not there is always next season.
  8. Oh good, right where nobody cares.
  9. Shit in the desert? I’ve done it in the woods...
  10. Be safe.
  11. I already removed it, twat. I’m only here for the likes, though.
  12. All of my appendages are crossed.
  13. Local history continues... Also go to check out the old rail line that used to run through there and into Palmerton during my run this morning. If I remember correctly, it was the Chestnut Ridge Railway which was originally built for a potential brick factory from the white clay in the area. That never happened, but the line was still used for local industrial transportation but more importantly to transfer workers from Kunkletown to Palmerton to work at NJ Zinc. The more you know...
  14. 1968. Lots has changed in Bethlum since then. You can see the steeple of Central Moravian Church in the far left, the old passenger and freight station that is now The Wooden Match, and City Hall in the back. The old bridge crossing the river was replaced with the Fahy Bridge over the following years, and the trestle crossing the canal fed the Fritch Fuels which is still there.
  15. Today was interesting. Glad I left early to get a nice 10+ mile run in with Jeff so I can enjoy sausage in my mouth tomorrow.
  16. What dates? I’ll be skiing there 1-3rd.
  17. Burn out. If he doesn’t want to ski, forcing and pressing him isn’t going to make him want to get out more. You do you, Salty.
