Warm today. Still good turns. Not as good as yesterday.

Great first day at Solitude. Moved my flight a day early so I could avoid the snow so I had to ski solo. Took the bus up from SLC and got to the mountain at 8:15. Ate breakfast and booted up. Got out at 9 and rode until 2:45 with a short stop above the Boundary Chutes for a cliff bar and water. Spent most of the morning lapping the summit chair and skiing Headwall Forrest and stuff off of the powderhorn down to the summit lift. Once the Honeycomb gate opened I spent the next 4 runs traversing and hiking to find some fresh untracked snow. Which I did. Left over face shots on 3/4 runs. Good stuff. The snow was great everywhere. Glad it stormed hard before we got here. Now blue bird days. I'll take it. Took some video of the honeycomb runs. I'll try and post them at some point.
