blue mountain has a ton of snow left. and with s few more inches tomorrow that will help. the 7day looks good for temps. i could see them going until april. hopefully people continue to show up. tell yo wife, tell yo kids, tell yo friends!

that place is a whole different world. it doesn't even feel like skiing in PA. the amount of snow that they get is unreal and the question of skiing glades out there doesn't even apply. they are always open. every time i drive out to pittsburgh there is some precipitation coming down outside of sommerset. they get nuked on all the time, and when they don't its still something fun. i'm pretty sure a few years ago when i was out there they had a 250"+ year.

did Barb tell you that was the plan?

that's what i heard. i guess 100% complete by 2016? who knows. if its anything like the rest of the stuff Blue does (nightmare and dreamweaver) , it will be done by 2025.

Blue should have a glade cutting day. Just let people come up and thin out some trees. I would gladly do it for free, but they don't see that. Last year they had a day where people could come up and do trail work for the mountain bike trails and they asked for people to send in resumes with previous trail work. wtf? free help is free help.
