  1. Mid flight right now. Still lots of time in the air left.
  2. Hopefully it's not "declining" or else we will lose skiing too. Sounds like the writers of the article are 60 yo guys who are scared of snowboarders though.
  3. i can see Russia from my house.
  4. Packing. Beer. Flask. Bacon. Utah bound.
  5. Not much rain out of this storm. Really nothing significant.
  6. Expect pictures to be posted tomorrow.
  7. especially since he is posting more now while when he "works". go fucking ski and get off your phone.
  8. good. i didn't feel like driving up and then packing all my stuff for Utah when I got home. I'm still out for next week, though.
  9. Oh I can't see them I have you blocked.
  10. worth a try. i'm not just saying this because i have them, but they are one of the best "fat" skis out there that can ski the east every day and still hold their own out west in a good dump.
  11. i hope there are actually pictures from the trip...
  12. sure is! I just got back from a run and its getting a lot more windy out there. With the wind blowing in my face it felt like it was in the single digits but my tracker was reading 14°.
  13. Awesome morning up at Blue today. I left my house around 8:20 and was jamming to some Hey Marseilles, Harlem Shakes, and Beta Radio on the way up. MSY. I pulled in around 9:00 with a temperature of 8° and they were hammering the majority of the trails with snow. Booting up in the lot wasn't as cold as I expected because the sun was beating down on me. The only time I really got cold was while going down the hill because of the wind in my face - other than that, it was pretty damn comfortable. they had HUGE mounds of snow on all the trails that they were blowing on. Central Park was loaded so they can get the big air bag open and a few jumps/rails: plenty of snow under the lifts and in the trees from all of the blowing and previous storms - hopefully some fun stuff will show up after tomorrow's 2-3 inches Sidewinder was getting slammed top to bottom and it looks like after grooming the piles out and shaping them, it will be open within the next week. The pile in the back has got to be 20' high. i stopped on the side of Lazy to check it out: Nightmare/Dreamweaver was closed for blowing and grooming today as well: Surprisingly, there was even enough snow to ski the glades since they have been blowing in there as well. I probably took 4 or 5 runs in there since nobody else was and the snow was awesome: I finally called it quits around 11:45 and they were still blowing on everything. It had warmed up quite a bit to a steamy 13° and the sun was still shining. It looks like I'll have one more morning session left on Saturday and racing Monday night before its off to Utah. Anybody else going to be up Saturday morning? JADIP.
  14. they probably have separate rooms...
  15. yup. and 25$ weekends.
  16. Awesome. I need to get up there this year.
  17. yeah the snow is great up there. monday night was awesome. conditions were great because the snow was so good. i guess you can't really blow crap snow when its 10 degrees.
  18. honestly, do you really need a stepping stone to ski JFBB?
  19. awesome night. glad i came out. hopefully its just improvements from here on out. Congrats to everybody on the team who kicked my ass and for having me join them. Hopefully I'll be improving as the weeks go on.
  20. Blowing a lot of snow up here. These are the temps that they need. It's gonna be cold as hell though. I hate Blue at night.
