i think coal. but i'm not sure. i know there were small silver deposits in the LV back when settlers were first here. But i guess it could possibly be limestone. i think it would be cool to check out.... but not if it was super unsafe like they are saying.

the trees on lazy are a blast with snow. and you can ski them from the top of tuts down 1/3 of lazy. it's a start!
-
i did. i guess that is why.

they charged me $25. wow. $75? crazy. and no, the Whitehall Buck doesn't have the equipment. they told m they had to scrap the stuff they got from Nestors because it didn't pass any test and wasn't safe to be mountain with, so they shipped it down to Ardmore i think.
-
they do it themselves. but not all of their shops have the equipment to do it, so unfortunately they have to send it to one of their other shops. at least that was my understanding when i got my stuff there. also, do plane tickets to Utah count as a gear purchase? so stoked!

the only reason i like the moose is because Sno is in Moosic, PA. that's all. otherwise, it sucks.

at this point, snow is snow.

I'm hoping/praying for boulder this weekend. If not, then I'll just have to wait.
-
unfortunately, i think that is doubtful.

yeah. there are little rectangle logos on the back that can be punched out when used. i'm pretty pumped to use it because now i'll get to places that i know i wouldn't buy full price lift tickets for. i know i'll go to jfbb at least twice in a year, so this covers it. i know i'll go to camelback. again, this covers it. i've always wanted to try sno and shawnee and Root always talks about his trips to NY so now i can tag along and try those hills. really seems like you can't go wrong with this purchase.
-
i got my card in the mail today. it's like a punch card with the different places on the back, which includes: Camelback Sno JFBB x2 Shawnee Platekill Mountain Creek Greek Peak Sawmill pretty pumped that jfbb is on twice. can't wait to get out there anywhere. ski season will be here in PA soon.

starting next wednesday - saturday is looking good for night time snow making at Boulder. I would not be surprised if they are open next Saturady.
-
Way too long to wait.
-
I'm going up for r2r so I'm just going to be pumped for a fun comp, good friends, good beer, and to get on skis. Whatever is open doesn't matter... We will make it fun.

Looks like my first days on skis will be killington on Dec 9th the way the weather is looking around here

Purchased a new Gopro HD 2 since I busted my old one months ago. Pumped to start throwing together some videos again.
-
yes.
-
i've never skied anywhere in NY but i hear that Whiteface can be fun.
-
pumped to actually get there so i can see what all the hate on the place is about and if its valid.
-
probably. this weather sucks.

airfare is significantly cheaper now. plus, some people can't take last minute trips depending on their place of employment. i know that i have too much responsibility to take off and let my colleagues/students hanging. that's why i look for cheap airfare now and then plan places to go once i'm out there and see the snow coming.
