1. camelback takes it for the 2010-2011 season. i was up there with Root one day and scared as hell of half the stuff they 'groomed'.... and that's with years of training on Blue's crap.
2. well you got the first two down...
3. no it wasn't. it has been roped off for a few years now. but we still skied it. anyway, from my understanding, one of the small access roads that runs between razors and dream weaver is now wider and named. we will see. i'll take any improvements - big, or small. also, jeff is most likely correct that the circled area won't be the new trail because it's under a lift. not blue's thing for sure. i'm surprised you guys haven't complained more about them making improvements, like usual.
4. hell yeah. he wins the purchase of the year award for basically everything.

15. http://www.mcall.com/news/breaking/mc-blue-mountain-carbon-county-fatal-accident-20110922,0,6520028.story By Tracy Jordan, Of The Morning Call 10:46 a.m. EDT, September 22, 2011 A 49-year-old Slatington man working for an excavation company at Blue Mountain Ski Area near Palmerton in Lower Towamensing Township was killed when the truck he was operating overturned on a ski slope Wednesday morning. Carbon County Coroner Bruce A. Nalesnik identified the victim as Victor Bortz, an employee of Livengood Excavating & Paving, Walnutport. Nalesnik said no one witnessed the accident, but Bortz was apparently ejected when he lost control of the over-sized dump truck. The cab of the truck remained upright and the dump body over-turned onto its side under a chair lift near the Lazy Mile, a ski run for beginners.
Topics
Accidental Death
Slatington
Funeral Parlor and Crematorium
See more topics
16. that has to be their next step. they are really running out of room to put people on those weekends. new trails are really the only way to do that. the improvements in the lodge are great. they just don't affect season pass holders like us. no biggie. it benefits them since they get more weddings and conferences there over the summer with those upgrades. summer income will help keep our winters rolling, so i'm not going to complain. they could have done nothing at all and you would all complain that they did nothing. they make some improvements and now everybody complains that they aren't what they wanted. suck it up.
17. about time they update the bomb shelter. good for them.
18. that's what she said.
