CR JOHNSON PASSES AWAY IN SKI ACCIDENT CR Johnson passed away today at Squaw Valley. According to sources close to the incident, he got caught up on rocks going off a cliff at the Light Towers, went over the handlebars and hit his head and neck on rocks on the landing. oh, and the bumps on mainstreet were incredible today. top to bottom run of the best bumps i have ever skied in PA, and maybe even the whole northeast. they are doing a great job with them. the 3 inches of wet snow that setting on them made them great this morning. i probably took 8 or 9 runs on them and then hit some on nightmare. then called it quits.

i'll be there sunday, most likely at some point in the morning.

pasr day at frost this saturday.... otherwise i would be there. this would be my first trip to frost so i'm actually kinda excited to have those guys show me around and put names to faces and such.

TT when was the last time that you hit them? they cut them down a bit and reshaped them at the end of last week to make the landings steeper. before then they were still very clearable, but now, they are smaller and even easier to clear. the only issue is that you need to adjust for that, or else you will overshoot them.

i didn't really have any problems with them this weekend sobey. after my first run through and i got the distances figured out i was fine.

i can't assume that rice isnt trying without knowing the facts. he could just be getting shut down. who knows. i really dont have any complaints with the park this year anyway. its been decent almost all year.

yeah from what i hear, there is a good chance that sidewinder wont be the park in the near future.
