kids are a problem that has seemed to slowly go away at Blue... i don't know what it is. maybe its because i'm just waiting for my run to clear. but yesterday, i hit the dfd and there was a little snowboarder kid riding 5 feet from the end of the rail when i came out of it switch and proceeded to stiff-arm him out of my way and continue on. so yeah its always a problem, but now i'm just more patient with it.

i'm not wasting my time going up this morning for 1/2 inch. told you it would be a bust. see you this weekend.

blue had about 16 inches when we left that afternoon... and that was 4 hours before it stopped. just sayin'. and not sure how knob got 30 when more snow fell in the south? did they move?

it has been like that pretty much all season, except for when they mow them over for a rebuild.

Another great weekday morning at Blue. i got up there for opening at 8 at the top lodge and there weren't many cars there at all. it was similar to a regular weekday morning. grooming was awesome. snow was awesome. weather was awesome. the sun was out. about 25 degrees or so for more of the morning. 24 when i pulled in and 28 when i left. i spent about 2 hours up there until it started getting crowded around 10. short lift lines (<2minutes) but longer than i wanted to wait on a weekday morning after getting a handful of great runs in before that. run of the day was nightmare bumps - dreamweaver - lower paradise - homestretch. also noticed that they re-bumped up challenge and put in some kickers in the middle of the moguls to practice course set-up for the comp. looks really great and they are doing a great job up there this year. again, no complaints as today was what some people like to call, JADIP. see you all tomorrow morning.

well if thats the case than good thing i dont have to be in until 11 for my meeting. i can get about 1.5 hours of skiing in before i should head out, regardless of snow amounts.

not negative. i'm being realistic. the storm is moving more and more inland. they are only predicting 3-5 for us here in the LV and we rarely get the high end of anything. take it or leave it.
