no rain until after lunch. i hope anyway, cuz i want to go up there in the morning. today i rode every chair alone.

there are two nice and easy boxes in there. a loooong flat box and a small flat-down box. if you can do stuff in come around you could probably do stuff on those in the park. remember smart style haha.

thats the thing to do, but there are always places you can hide your stuff too if the lockers are all used. i'll be there tomorrow morning as well if the weather is decent. i'll either be in the park most of the time. its gonna be a hot one.

or if it isnt crowded you can stick it in a locker and not pay, just so it is hidden.

the only tables are the 3rd and 4th. 1, 2, and 5 are all step downs.

i have never seen anybody start there to hit the jump after the wallride. there is no need to if you are going to hit that jump.

it snowing right now in bethlehem and up at Blue.

also, more rails/boxes after the wallride. it just gets so empty after that and there is so much space to work with. and another thing... put a lip back onto the stairs. it was there saturday and it was perfect. sunday morning first run in the park there is NOTHING. i think somebody ate it. but that doesnt really have anything to do with the jumps, just the park in general

crowd control for sure. i dont want to have to get into a fight with a 65yo man who cuts me off again. bigger jumps, but with two lips on all of them so the landings dont get bombed out as fast and so there is a smaller hit and a larger hit that you can decide on based upon the speed you are carrying into it.

ah yes, you are right. we were asses for telling you not to go in the park if you are unsure what you are doing. what were we possibly thinking trying to protect you and everybody else in the park?! how inconsiderate everybody and myself are. please accept my apology.

every day that i'm there i see people turn back or ride away because they can't get up the steps. families are always coming up to it and then turning back, as opposed to just riding ride through a nice wide opening like it used to be. no offense but you have only been to Blue once this year and it makes it hard to judge the affectiveness of something based on one visit. if bear would have something like this, you would definately see some change in who is/n't in the park. and its a better idea than a park pass if your mountain doesnt believe in restricting paying customers, like Blue.

blue's stairs work when they are cleaned off. they keep people out for sure, just because of the inconvenience of taking stuff off. if they arent clean, they do nothing at all. it would be good to have to steps though... but the kicker you speak of? c'mon. lets be real. take the 10 seconds out of your life to take your stuff off. it will be worth it if there are less people in the park.

you need to stop making up percentages. seriously. 75% of the people who go to bear are park rats? wrong. if that were the case, there would be no lodge, no hotel, and the entire mountain would be a park.

i love how jumps around here are measured from start of the lip to end of the landing making them 30ft bigger than they actually are haha.

they were in the park first thing this morning. i rode the lift with a few as well who were talking about the steps up to the park and how they think it makes people more curious about what is there. when i was there today i saw a kid ride up the steps and then his dad tried to ski up and fell over and he flipped out because he didnt know how to get in. i loved it. haha.
