I'm in front of a classroom of 40+ students right now. None of us are wearing masks (all of us are vaccinated). It is quite nice to see everyone. Reminds me of the good ole days of early 2020.

That was my thought as well. I do want to clean it up a bit, but my god there are houses out near me in the boonies that have cars sitting there for decades and still hold their shape just fine. Maybe just a quick grind and repair on the rough spots, and then give the chair its 18th and final coating of paint.

Looks good! I’m in the process of sanding mine down too so I can stain it again and fix any crappy boards. It sucks but the effort is worth it when it’s done.

I was thinking of doing the same with bondo. You are much further along than I am, though. So if you want to test it out and let me know that would be appreciated 😀 Have you figured out how you are going to have it set up? hanging? resting on something? I'm not sure what to do yet, but I'm probably going to do a bench of some sort rather than hanging it like a swing. Just not sure what I'd need to do to hold all that weight and my fat ass when on it.

This rain really helped things in the garden perk up and the cooler weather this month has helped the greens refresh quickly after each harvest.

Same. I'd love to go back. Flights were at least twice as much than what we paid 2 years ago, but we only paid ~$400 last time which was fairly cheap, IMO. I need to get back and spend more time exploring in Kauai.
