used ski sale at nestors for boots and bindings and all that good stuff. cheap skis from ebay.... you could probably have a decent setup for under $500

yes, those letters might help the wind die down and also, maybe prevent Blue from letting their base thaw and then refreeze again. and on another note... but not really. i was up there friday morning. took 5 runs through the park with my park skis, which was banging. and another 11 runs on other trails with my all-mountain skis. pretty great conditions. and for me to say that, it must be true. i'm a grump when it comes to skiing and if things are close to perfect, i leave. i cant stand the icy death that happens every night at PA mountains.

when you are on the hill with your equipment then they pretty much have the right to check for a pass if you are using their facilities. i have hiked up the park to watch a comp once and didnt need a lift ticket, but thats different. if he would have been standing there in street clothes and sneakers talking to his friends then they most likely wouldnt have checked since he wasnt skiing/boarding.

does that mean that i can finally get some sleep since i wont be hearing you and your boyfriend in the room next to mine?

just got back... windy as hell but still very good skiing. i got a ton of runs in... 4 in the park with the Foils and i cant remember how many others on the Scratchs. i saw jeff the last 4 runs that i took but i never met up with him. hopefully everybody else that goes up has a good day. the wind should start dying down as the day goes on.

Windy today. oh well. i'll be there soon. i'm skipping my first class and should be back around 12 or so for my next one at 12:50. hopefully its nice. i'm def. taking both pairs of skis so i can rip around a little and then hit some rails and whatnot. AtomicJeff said he will be up there at 10:30 i think. who else is heading up to the bluest and truest mountain of them all?

if the lower park had a handle tow, it would get more trashed than it already does. i think everything is fine the way it is. you wont have to pole across shuttle or whatever that is if you are going fast enough. there are flat trails like that at every mountain. get used to it or stop skiing.

my girlfriend is staying over friday night.... so i might be able to get up there by 12 if i'm lucky. i have a soccer tournament that i have to leave for at 4:00 though.... so we'll see. i'd like to get up there.

i sure as hell hope that they blow snow in the pipe and recut it. last weekend it was a mess.

it wouldnt do anything. people see jumps and and rails so they flock to those trails. there wouldnt be enough room for another trail anyway. next idea?

the bases on my Foils are higher than the edges that are completely rounded off. haha. they cant ski anywhere else unless its powder of soft snow.

i was riding the lift today with some little 7yo girl and her dad. the entire time she was talking about how stupid snowblades look and that they shouldnt let people use them. her father trained her well. haha.
