the snow was so good today. hopefully it doesnt ice up for the comp.
-
thats because i'm too quick.

i personally didnt like the park at all. i have explained why in other posts, if you need to you can go back and look. one main reason why i feel that the park is not good is the trail that it is on. HOLY FLAT!
-
i think i can lap Blue faster than you. because my turning radius of my skis is a lot longer than you so i'm not taking all of those short snappy turns. but anyway....
-
i mostly agree with your post, mostly because you werent rude about it like some of your past posts (no offense). one thing though... how is a park going to fix the problems if people keep saying that its good and they arent listening to the "negativity"? does that make sense?
-
haha yeeeeah. he still has more style than that Boyer kid who posted this link....
-
looks like you need to utilize the space that you have. throw a ton more rails up. you could have so many different lines and options. from the looks, it is on par with Bear and maybe Blue or Boulder.
-
i remember somebody saying that snowblades are the best things to have in the park... philpug maybe? yeah. anyway. watch that and then shut up about snowblades being anything be fucking shitty.
-
why would you want your boots to smell better? dont you know thats part of skiing? the smellier they are, the more style you have!

--> QUOTE(Matt B @ Feb 19 2007, 01:12 PM) 136618[/snapback] i would rather have a crappy pipe than no pipe look at mountain creek, they have had the best pipe in the east for a long time and then this season killed it they arent even going to try to build a pipe, and they hold the grand prix's that a big contest to turn away so it could be worse you couldnt have a pipe all season there is no reason creek couldnt have had a pipe

why are you asking him? he has no idea what a good setup is if he thinks that the parks are "good"
-
papa, i wrote a report of the park in my camelback post about being there on saturday. i think you asked for it... just lettting you know if you havent seen it. and yeah, that rail gap is SICK! thank God i got a park pass to hit that!
-
i think they said something about EPIC conditions... oh wait, no. that was just Chippy talking about the cold temps and ice that Blue provided us with 2 weekends ago.
-
that thing buck bucked you to the 2nd flat. good work camelback.
-
i dont think you were about to do anything.
-
its going to be a great week to ski with temps in the 40s. woooohooo!
-
thats funny... because everybody in it SUCKED. p.s.- it must be hard for you to piss a smiley face while sitting down...
-
hahahahahahahaha. you speak the truth.
-
i have class until 2, i dont know if i'll be up though because it probably going to be crowded as hellllll
-
look at the one in his avatar... looks like freakin 10 feet max.

the park sucked. biggest waste of my time. Rhodo park. holy crap. what a waste of an area that uses a park pass. setups were sketchy at best, with lips that buck you in the air and down hard onto the rails. the flat rail, has magically turned into and S rail because they must have hit it 15 times with groomers.. POS. that geometric shape that they decided to throw in at the top would only be good if you could use it as a shelter to hide from the wind. the FDF had a buckbuck lip on it and no landing. same with the FD, unless you came in at crawling. the jumps were alright, but had no landings. if people at Blue complain about no landings, holy shit, go to camelback and you will love everything that Blue has to offer. the C box was the only thing that was setup well with a decent landing. the wall.... wont ever talk about that. and then there is the pipe.... i dont want to hear about camelback's pipe being one of the best in the area ever again... to require a park pass to ride that is ridiculous. that thing shouldnt even be open in the condition that it was in. it looked like it had cancer. i'm sorry to complain, but when a mountain institutes a park pass because they are going to have an "expert level park", i expect an expert level park, with more than 3 hits in a run. not to mention hits that are setup properly. thats my vent. on another note, grooming was amazing and the other runs were pretty fun, kinda short, but fun. lots of variety compared to other places.
-
true statement.
-
it wasnt crowded at all. i was surprised. their runs are short, but its nice to switch it up a bit and ski something different than blue everyday....
-
just got back from camelback. worst parks i have ever been in. the "expert" park with the park pass is a waste of space. you get three fuckin hits and all the rails suck because they have no landings. the first flat rail that is like 40ft long sucks because it is all twisted and shit like it got hit with a groomer. if i actually had to pay for a ticket today and didnt have a free one i would be bitterrrrrrrr

honestly, i'm tired of hearing everybody else's 'pathetic gripes' about people who are criticizing mountains. what you are doing is no different than what they are doing, except that it is directed at the individual rather than at the mountains. its a never ending cycle, because now i am doing what you just did. so how about this... we all just deal with it? okay? good.
