  1. 1/2 of the people that actually place in these comps is going to be away next week. go for it this week. conditions are finneeeeeeeeeee. haha
  2. powder. ha. it was great snow while it was still snowing/sleeting. but then it started to turn to freezing rain and started freezing up the trails. i still thought it was good. much better than an icy night at Blue. and the park was good. make sure you clean off the rails before you hit them though... i got caught up on some ice once or twice. because i wasnt going fast enough.
  3. yeah i remember paying about 400 this year... and last year it was 370
  4. just got back from Blue. they blew snow in the park but nothing is very different. you can see that they are going to be putting in some new rails in some spots though. and lets just say that the booters are bigger than they have ever been. the first booter after the c-box was moved back was 10 of my ski lengths (174) making it about 58 feet. the double set of booters after the rainbow is also bigger. the left side is 8 1/2 ski lengths making the jump 50 feet. the huge booter though, will make you shit your pants. its a couple inches less than 13 ski lengths... making it about 75 feet. this should make for a pretty sick slopestyle comp. unfortunately i wont be there. but all of you better be filming it!
  5. plus, Blue is bigger than either of those places. its worth getting a pass to Blue.

  7. even though i wont be there.... i agree. its never combined score. that pretty muich says that if you fall once you are done. best of two is the way to go. thats how all the other comps were... dont change it now. also, please judge style. you cant give the same score for somebody who throws a 5 with a grab and a regualr 5. that has the way it has been all year. the judges need to start recognizing that shit.
  8. haha, it will be open. they wll set it up at night like they did last year
  9. closed
  10. if northstar had a crappy park then i think this world is coming to an end.

    PB&J

thats because she is freakin gooooood. and hot.
  12. thanks. i'l take tons of pictures when i'm not running my ass off. the fields of there suck from what i heard because of the weather that they have. who knows.
  13. you're lucky i wont be there. i wuoldnt want to have to kick your ass and throw you off of the end of the crackerbarrel. by the way... i heard there were some new thnigs in the park... i dont know if its true though. anybody know?
  14. is this actually going to be judged on style or who can huck themselves without style the most like ever other competition this year?
  15. i want to do the slopestyle sooo bad.
  16. you wont find out until you get there.
  17. practice on the snow. then take it to something simple in the small park. then master it and do it on everything.
  18. i highly doubt that they are a fad. i will be teaching my kids to do them when i am 40. and i'm sure i will still be hating on the people that dont belong in the park.
  19. this is the first year that i would actually do the rail jam and slopestyle since i finally grew some balls this year... and of course i wont be around all weekend.
  20. work on them so you dont look so rediculous. if you can do much better in the air then i'm guessing you are able to spin. and if you can spin in the air, you should have no problem turning 90 degrees onto a box/rail
  21. of course boardslides are a different story. because 50/50s dont count on boxes.
  22. i'll be playing soccer in England. otherwise i'd be there as well.
  23. what did you expect going that late in the day? it wasnt 1/2 bad in the AM
  24. yeah i was there. i hate it. maybe if it wasnt set up for boarders it would be easier. ride-on is the worst way to ahve an "up-rail/box" set up... especially for skiers because 50/50s dont count in my book for either.
  25. haha yes you.
