lower sidewinder is nothing special. its more like a place you go if you want to ski ontop of kids who suck and think its cool to use the burms as jumps. p.s.- if that picture is you, its pretty damn hot.

blue's lifts are fine. they dont close them down because of wind like other places do. the only problem with them are the people that ride them and dont know what the hell they are doing. tonight wasnt bad until the ski blubs came and pretty much turned my night into hell. so i left. otherwise... today was a great 6 hour day of skiing.

awesome. i'll be up there around noon since i dont have clas today. justin and kevin are coming up arounf 2 so we might see you guys out there...

i dont think the park is open right now. at least thats what their website says. the small one on cascade is open but that wouldnt be worth the trip if you are going to primarily ski park... im not sure though. somebody that skis bear on a regular basis might be more of a help.

a lot of people talk shit on their bindings but i have had a pair on my last skis that i had no problem with and i just got a pair or 9-12 ti's on my Foils this year and they are light as hell and i rally dont pop out for no reason... i have no complaints.

yeah they are good. my one friend was throwing double grab 5s off of the 45 footer. he will be up there today.. he said he wants to start doing switch 5s and some 9s again (yeah he rediculously good). all i have done of of it was throw a 180... because i ahve no balls and i cant spin. both are nice though, in my opinion.

oh Montage has a jumps that are longer than a 45ft and 60ft jump? news to me.

if you want to ride a good park then id say go to Blue... what they have set-up now is pretty sick.

the one that is set-up in the camelback forum is also saying the same thing.... go to Blue.

1) could youi imagine if the only time you could ski was on a weekend? it would be even moer crowded than it is now, and honestly, it would suck. you wouldnt be able to enjoy yourself if you had to wait in lines longer than they already are. i hate skiing on the weekends unless its early in the morning because it gets crowded and there are tons of people who suck. 2) what about ski clubs that schools have? it pretty much doesnt allow them to participate in these great oportunities for school kids to learn how to ski. if it wasnt for ski clubs on tuesday nights when i was in 4th-6th grade i probably wouldnt be skiing right now. i dont know where somebody would get the crazy idea that it isnt worth keeping a mountain open during the week...

i think that as long as somebody has bought a pass to your mountain (one ticket or a season pass)... you should provide them with the skiing/boarding that they have paid for...

give it a shot. as of tonight the park wasnt at its best because of the rain but on a good day like tomorrow it could be crazy again. if you like to ski park then i would suggest Blue. if you want longer runs and more vert then i would suggest blue. if you want more of a variety of trails and whatnot... go to CB.... buit you ahve been there before so why not give Blue a shot? nothing wrong with change. and i'll be there pretty much all day tomorrow because i dont have class on thursdays...

i would assume that they are kidna struggling with all of this crap weather going on.. even some parks of blue were starting to get sketchy...

i think its on the 28th or something like that from what i heard (next thursday).... but i still dont think they have a pipe or will ahve time to throw something substantial together by then... i think i might enter it in the skier-novice group.... i cant do much and im kinda new to the freeskiing scene...

that only happens if you like skiing on saturday and sunday afternoons with all of New Jersey. ski early morning and it will be 10000x better.

i think that it will be nice tomorrow during the day... probably from when the sun hits it until it starts getting colder... so id say about 11-3 it would be perfect. tonight it was an icy death. tomorrow after being groomed and hopefully some frsh snow from tonight, it will be good. i dont have any classes tomorrow so il'l probably be up there in that time fram for a bit and then through the night.

i think i would rather ski the park anyway. it would be better for me to work on my skills in the park instead of racing... since i want to start doing more comps this year. i'm tired of watching justo's brother and him win crap and i just sit there and be jealous of all the free shit that they get. its time for me to step up my game.
