supposedly Dennis Krell Sr's exact words from that he said during a meeting regarding the park were "I want to beat Bear this year"... or something along those lines... heres suggestions: 1) on the first straitaway on sidewinder there should be rails and no jumps because its too damn windy there and its easier to control yourself on a rail than it is in the air. 2) jumps that have two or more options.... like how the jump in the lower park is now... 3) long landing so people dont flat bottom on everything like last year 4) no ride-on rails
-
well said... its so true... its the same concept of regualr skiing... if you want to learn.. you buy the pass. if you want to learn to ski park (we prefer if you learn in the beginner park) then you buy the pass..
-
there will be ride-ons... in the lower park
-
they learn in the lower park... once they learn some skill and some park etiquette then they can progress to bigger and better things
-
hopefully you are impressed with it... still arent sure what they are putting in it yet, but it looks promising... i'll probably be around there too after i get out of work..
-
agreed... i do like the lift line guy who carries around the ski pole and makes people go up four at a time... makes the lift line go so much faster. i would rather ride up with 4 people than alone... give you more people to talk to

yeah for the most part... the only reason i am for them is because too many times people get hurt in the expert park on sidewinder and ruin it for us all. it isnt possible to progress if the park is set up like a beginner park. that is why there is a beginner park (terrain run).. i agree with you that everybody should be able to ski where they please... but its kinda like taking a beginner down challenge who gets in your way while you are trying to carve turns.. its not their place... see where i'm coming from?

everybody seems to be talking good about the "U-box"
-
unfortunately it does make the rest of the mountain less crowded... everybody and anybody seems to flock to the park because its the "cool" thing to do. i dont have people skiing it as a regular run, but it pisses everybody off when they get in out way and hit the lips onto rails like jumps.. i'm a HUGE fan of park passes but i dont think that will happen.... for now.. we'll have to deal with the school groups and other people that come in busloads and wedge up the lips and roll over them...

man you have to be like 14 years old the way you act. you need to grow up and get a life and stop being the arrogant little bitch that you are. and isnt it a little ironic that you name is "PAsucks"?? how many ski resorts are in New Jersey??? Campgaw... Mountain Creek... and Hidden Valley... how about when you live in a state that has a real mountain you can talk... for now. dont.

for the past 2 weeks i have been having trouble with their site...

On monday, Blue will be opening the park. nobody knows for sure what they are going to haev in it because they are setting it up tonight and tomorrow.. i'll have to talk to some of the people that are on park crew to see what is going on. possibility that the stairs set will be out with a bow on one side and a flat rail going down the other side. the crew said there arent going to be any ride-on shit in that park so thats good and will keep people away i hope. supposedly the new 45-foot battle ship box is going to be out along with the new 40-foot downkink box... as for the old stuff that they had or rails... i'm not sure what will be out. where they widened sidewinder over the summer there is going to be a decently large jump from what has been said... and thats all i know about jumps. oh yeah, and the perminant wall ride will most likely be up for hits since it really cant go anywher....

oh yeah.... justin took the picture.. i ganked it from him. PROPS TO JUSTIN. jerkface.

i know if i had a season pass there instead of Blue i would be pissed. honestly, i think its rediculous that they didnt open ealier this season with all the cold weather and snow that we have had. everybody who i have talked to that skis there are really dissappointed with the decisions that management has been makign this year
-
they closed because the roads are bad? thats that dumbest crap i ahve ever heard. i drove to Blue last weekend when there was 11 inches of snow on the ground. the roads are fine. they should stop being little sissies. i hate camelback. p.s.- go to Blue if you want to ski
-
it's a picture of the double chairs from the top of Blue over the summer
-
going fast and carving turns is fun and all, but for me... hitting a rail or something like that is what i get a rush from
-
you've skied plenty of twins? you should have probably stuck with them. the park is where all the fun is
-
jeep wagoneer's are PIMP..... especially with the woodkit.. i'm jealous, and i hope the pt has one too
-
it will be beat this season... i guarantee it... i have a good feeling about this year and what is going to come... as long as i get my 50 days of skiing in i'll be happy
-
yeah i was up there with the normal crew (freeridintre, justo8484, and myself)... i duno what you thought about conditions but we all thought they were pretty damn good
-
you must have been skiing switchback the whole time if you thought it was bad, whatever though... i have a feeling tomorrow is going to be crap but i'll still be there
-
yeah man i completely agree... Bear has stepped it up over the past few years burying Blue in the snow... now its time for Blue to step it up and it looks like they have so far... i'm so pumped for this year
-
are you serious right now? it was sooooo good tonight with 2-3 inches of fresh snow making all the runs nice... it only started to suck once it changed over to sleet and freezing rain and thats when i decided to peace out of there... and AtomicSkier.... i think i saw you carving some turns across the rollers while i was sliding the first box and mailbox in the park...

thats old enough for me.. haha
