Timing looks like it might be a little later in the morning so we might get some nice groomers followed by rider-of-the-storm conditions which may result in a new PASR Magazine cover! I think that figure is too low for herd immunity. 25% of adults say they aren't going to get the vaccine. About 20% (just a guess) of the US population is <18. These vaccines aren't approved for use in those under 18 yet or maybe 16. That is a huge chunk of people. I think we have a while to go until it is achieved if it even ever is achieved since a lot is going to depend on longevity of immunity for those who have been vaccinated and those who have acquired the virus naturally. Luckily, numbers have been trending nicely as vaccination roll out has been improving. We'll know more in a few months...

40° and sunny here. Winds have picked up significantly as the next cold front moves in. I don’t see if getting much warmer than this here. Still some major snow melt happening.

Thursday will be better if you like skiing in snow. Friday will be better if you want some nice groomed out snow. Still a bit too early to determine definite timing and totals, but I plan on being there Thursday.

Definitely did not get as much freezing rain and rain as projected last night which is good. The snow on the ground here as a nice coating of ice and it doesn't seem like much was lost. The system moving through on Thursday seems to be trending colder which is good so @saltyant won't be so sad if a piece of ice falls from the sky. Keep your eyes on early next week too. Depending on temps and a buoy pop, there could be something there. I've heard snow breed snow...
