  1. Nastar Glenn was also in the house.
  2. When are y’all gonna start money for shows? I guess it’s an improvement from the early days of the Beagles featuring Joy when you had to pay people to attend.
  3. I admit it was a really good read.
  4. Hey All, I’m back from another fun morning session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot before 830 and it was in the mid 20s with moderate winds under mostly sunny sky’s. In the house were Atomic Jeff, Airhead, Dirtwolf, Bethlehem ford guy, Oz, Craig, Harold, Kumar, Oz and many others. Was about the 8th civilian quad, as they let people through the gates well before opening and then just wait at the chair. I was expecting super firm and first run down paradise was pretty OK, nice grooming and a pleasent machine groomed frozen granuler surface. Challenge was also surprisingly nice but falls was a cookie field. Main Street was ok, kind of variable, lower was the best. Coming soon was decent as was lazy mile. I also skied a run down raceway to chute..chute was solid cookies and Widowmaker and Cursis were ok Before 10am they opening the OG six pack which eliminated any minor lift lines and I ended the session with three runs down razors, all empty all on the left side of the root rollers..very nice way to end a better than expected session. Ski most of you tomorrow.
  5. Even our fearless leader Atomic Jeff is here early.
  6. I didn’t even notice and just saw you roll in Van…yeah I get here early. Been delegating stuff to my office manager so working hard.
  7. Only airhead gets excited for 2” of snow followed by an inch of rain
  8. I thought about montage that Monday..if I can get a lot of stuff done next week..it’s tough for me to take the whole day off
  9. Let’s hope I’m fearing a snowless ground gonna make me busy at work and I’m liking it a little slow. Plus wanna ski my fat skis more.
  10. wow @saltyant so many questions and gosh I have a lot of answers. First of all Yoccos was founded by relatives of Bethlehem Ford guy, ask him about Yoccos or Chrysler motors sometime. I like my Yoccos hot dogs everything with extra sauce. I’m glad you mentioned their hamburger sandwich. It’s a nice juicy burger and extra juicy with some Yoccos sauce..I like mustard on hamburger sandwiches..ketchup kind of played out..a lot better sauces out there…their steak sandwiches also good with extra sauce and I don’t do onions on the steak sando cause when I say extra sauce sometimes they think I mean extra onions as well so I just go extra sauce only and steak not a cheesesteak…American cheese gets in the way of the savory beefy Yoccos goodness. Let’s go get Yoccos their secret sauce is one of a kind. They’ve got cheesesteaks French fries their famous hot dogs are known worldwide. As for locations the Cedar Beach location is the one I’ve visited the most and it has a nice dining room, ample parking, guest restrooms, gumball machines and they even sell tastycakes. They were cash only until a few years ago. The Fogelsville location is closest to the hotel house and I’ve been visiting that location since I had temp warehouse jobs out that way in the early 2000s. I’d drive from the next exit on 78 new smithville to the route 100 yoccos or Taco Bell and back on my lunch break. Gosh now I need 40 minutes just to get ready for skiing lol. Fogelsville location similar inside to cedar beach location. Gary Daniels the current owner runs a tight ship so everything is clean and orderly. The route 100 location is cash only and they have a drive thru and ATM. Then you have the airport road location..that’s probably the nicest dining room as it’s a strip mall so good square footage…which is needed as that’s a busy area…check out Ichiban for Hibachi if over there..you’ll spend a little more dough but you’ll get a show.. Emmaus location I’ve been to don’t know much about and the south mall location is gonna cater my future wedding.. They closed down center city Allentown location the original location l which sold beer as well in the early 2000s and I’ve never been there cause in the ghetto. There also was a yoccos location across the street from the former air products headquarters but that closed due to a landlord disagreement. You know how that goes, landlord says your rent is late he may have to litigate don’t worry be happy. Yoccos is way too pricey for Ski2Live..he can buy a whole package of frankfurters on special at discount warehouse for like $2 the off brand Dirks and Walrus..a little slimy but so are the quality franks if stored at varying temperatures for years. Also there’s a place on Lehigh street Ski2Live can get hot dog rolls for only $1 but you only get 5 rolls so he’ll need two packages. We are at $4 here condiments free at any Wawa or Sheetz I think 8 cum in a pack so that’s your 50 cent glizzy. Yoccos is like $2.19 plus tax… Pierogies are Mrs T’s Ben M doesn’t like that kind he likes church lady pierogies where you see fingerprints and sometimes a couple short gray hairs in your dish. All good it’s fiber
  11. I was at Elk once 30 years ago and doesn’t seem like anything has changed. I just don’t see driving four times as far as Blue to spend n double as much time riding lifts and half as much time skiing why I’m lukewarm about montage but might go in two weeks.
  12. Oh gotcha, just made Saturday night plans.
  13. Hey All, It’s almost another weekend and a long weekend for some folks, is anybody planning on skiing or riding Blue mountain the true mountain. I’m planning on Friday and Saturday for opening. Sunday looks like a washout and 8am opening Monday I might hit. JADIP
  14. Holy threadjack folks, is this like the new TP4 thread? Cause I have so many random thoughts and stories and this seems like a great place to share it as opposed to telling mini market employees the trials and tribulations of living the GSS lyfe.
  15. Peeling and haven’t seen Matt edge in a month.
  16. Does elk walk or need more business in the form of deeply discounted tickets(Indy pass). I don’t see the Indy pass places getting much more than $30 a visit
  17. What about Blue? Is bear creek the closest place to Lancaster? I feel like you get into Liberty and Roundtop territory out there and whitetail.
  18. Play that song on repeat at Guantanamo bay, the terrorists will confess…a more subtle form Of water boarding.
  19. I heard like a 45 second long cowbell by the west Chester guys. One of them was complimenting my skis which somehow are sticky and top sheet been feeling since last season. So I guess only shop employees demo the skis to see what they wanna buy for next season. Mark the one guy who’s skied with us lately was at the Armada tent and he’s been all over the northeast…
  20. @saltyant this is getting good and tomorrow I’ll start a weekend roll call.
  21. @DiMe homey and how was Colorado? I saw they’re getting like three feet
  22. Breast I can do is gaze at the lady in red.
  23. also Matt Edge told me if I got a second hand guitar I’d go far but I’m too busy taking care of business…
