No no no…I haven’t given any discounts in weeks except for a PASRs mom who purchased from me. We were closed Black Friday and I had 7 voicemails that day. It’s actually a normal thing to buy anytime..and holidays are when families get together and talk about stuff like this. The day after Easter and the day after Mother’s Day are usually the busiest because people visit cemeteries and realize nobody bought grandma anything lol

I have zero anxiety for opening day it’s a break from other stuff. I do get powder panic big time…the big storm in 2021 was anxiety just making it to Blue..that’s when we opened coming soon. I’ll have to find toasts Pow day video from The mid 2010s when everything and I mean everything was in play. On ski trips I have major powder panic..I actually appreciate the non Pow days cause more chill…

Hey All, Its almost another Blue mountain ski season and I might be a bit premature posting this but Blue is anticipating opening Saturday..is anybody planning on skiing opening day/weekend? I’m stoked for bottom lot for opening again..I remember the days we weren’t down there until almost Boxing Day which is when the Xmas cookies make an appearance. It’s beginning to look a lot like ski season. I’ll be there but haven’t skied in like 8 months so might wanna start off on some blues and greens before tackling the steeps. Ski some of y’all this weekend!!!

I’m starting a weekend roll call thread..I usually wait until Wednesday but in 5 minutes it’s Midnight in israel so gonna post roll call thread in support of the innocent people killed on both sides who won’t be able to make opening day at Blue.

DiMe we love your optimism but you’re out of your mind. I mainly want them to open Friday because weeks ago that’s when I thought they would open and I purposely scheduled my one appointment that day for 3pm and haven’t been setting up any others for that day. If blue can make an actual call maybe I can get a few more families in Friday. Fall rush is real..really real…the week before thanksgiving was insane. Don’t worry I’ll talk to y’all about it all this weekend lol

I remember four years ago, when you were drinking 16 ounce IPAs before opening..good thing you switched back to miller lites lol. I was thinking who’s this yahoo but Johnny law said you were alright lol Cant wait to sing Benny and the jets with Matt edge in the lift with you. JLaw likes to sing as well. I remember him singing the sun will cum out tomorrow on the lift. That’s a banger.

JFDan comes up with some subtle zingers sometimes. I try and stay on his good side cause he brings the chips…that’s why I let him park next to me.

Their lodge was retro a decade ago…any improvements to it..I saw that they have new lifts but still slow lifts. We used to do a PASR day there every season back when Phillycore and PARidge were instructors there and JFDan was a regular. We even stalked TTC6 once.

They could but they won’t. Camelback only opened before Blue once when Jim Doily forgot to get the lifts inspected. I remember @theprogram4 riding spring mountain once when blue wasn’t open. Big boulder always used to be the first to open…as for Jack Frost I don’t think it’s on blues radar as competition.

Now blue is saying anticipated opening on Saturday which isn’t news but they said keep thinking cold and it could be sooner…no it won’t be sooner lol. The people who run their FB are legit a bunch of Jabronies.

They will and winds aren’t ideal but you can see by the webcams a lot of the snow they’re blowing is sticking to the trails. Opening will likely be similar to last season. Paradise, Freefall and burma…maybe come around vista easy out midway and lower Main Street as well. One year they opened in November with lazy mile. That was rad.
