At least in modern times yes. I wasn't around for 6 seasons when I was in college and lived in Montana but I highly doubt any of those years was 100% in December. Now they can resurface everything and get the base freaking huge and even if it's warm and rainy for days on end they'll be fine.

Ahhh that's nothing..usually online deals are hundreds less. $599 is still more than what the majority of PASRs spend on skis..
