  3. Driving home sort of wanted sheetz but drove by it and then remembered that I hadn't haf KFC in awhile. Got one of the two piece combos and they asked me what side I wanted and without hesitation got Barbs favorite.
  4. Homestretch is a major priority..This is the week for homestretch get errr done...
  5. Hey All, I'm back from a fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I rocked out to Lehigh valley regaee music, 50 cent and lil Kim on the drive up and arrived at the upper lot around 7:20am and the temperature was are 28 degrees under cloudy sky's. In the house were Atomic Jeff, JFBB Dan, PARidge, NMSki, Gah skier George, Indiggio, Kevin, Mother Nature and a few jerrys. I forgot if if I was first or second chair doesn't matter..was nice to be out skiing again and come around was prettt good, midway was playful conditions with push piles and edgeabke hardback. Easy out and vista were a delight and lower Main Street was the suck..just goofy slow sort of slick yet not smooth and bowling ball sized death cookie on left side..the base is deep though. Lift lines were a couple minutes to ten minutes long on average..may have got longer later although I noticed a lot of people were using the vista lift as well. They had both the Main Street and Burma chairs going but impossible to have full capacity on both lifts with just one section of two scanners. Oh well #FirstWorldProblems...I got a decent amount of runs in and had some good beers in the parking lot with falling snow...I'd say 2 solid inches as of 1230pm im sure a little more before it is all said and done. The fresh snow should groom in well with the manmade for solid skiing tomorrow but I also expect alot of crowds as the backyard affect is in full swing with snow in the flatlands. I really hope expect and want upper Main Street to open tomorrow the inversions have been a killer this season. I think that homestretch and tuts lane will be ready soon along with lazy mile..The guns never shut off while I was skiing and it's well below freezing and will be colder mid week so by next weekend should see a lot more terrain open. It's only day 6 and I don't think I've ever skied come around so much.
  6. Got here early it's still dark out. Race kids out..Tighty whities Gary here already. 28 degrees out and overcast. Tomorrow will probably be the really busy day with snow megalopolis today... musical choice is my friend Travis Neffs regaee album Love for Allentown
  7. Not news to me and he's been posting on Alpinezone as well. He's been keeping stats here for at least 4 seasons as well.
  8. This cold snap is a Christmas miracle for bear creek.
  9. No harm at all...although not as efficient as blowing in colder temperatures.
  10. The lights are on at Bear Creek. I'm actually only 10.5 miles away from that legendary hill.
  11. Boom...which spelled backwards is something I have two of.
  12. Hahaha I was thinking the same thing afterwards. I'm always the first person in that row and if I park by the steps there will be a couple cars next to me before jeff gets there and a couple more before JFDan and Ryan and Toast and others arrive...#ParkingSpotsMatter
  13. You'll be fine if you get there normal time maybe allow an extra five minutes. FYI the PASRs have been parking second row..one flight of steps down from the lodge about ten cars west of the steps.
  14. Your pass might work. For peace of mind I'd get a new pass and pass picture. Most of the PASRs have done that the last two weekends.
  15. Keep posting in this thread and then Blue one of it relates to blue. What did you have for lunch today SaltyAnt?
  16. No idea I'll likely ski from 8-10am with the PASRs and then have some lot beers and if it is dumping maybe head back out for more..thanks for asking I was just thinking about it. There've been a few times where I had a double dip session at Blue mountain where I drive up and ski the early fresh cord and pebbles then go home in the afternoon and go back to Blue at night due to the timing of a snowstorm. The most I've done is Friday night, Saturday morning, Saturday night and Sunday morning. Yeah driving back and forth to Blue four times in under 48 hours.
  17. Who made you the internet police? It's still going because the discussion is not complete. It's actually the best report so far this season. Hall of Fame worthy.
  18. What a dumbass there's plenty of time to drink a beer on the lift ride up.
  19. I'm so happy for you SaltyAnt you made the right decision getting a Camelback pass maybe you'll see Juicebags there.
  20. Indiggio I quit super early Sunday not cause I was bored, not cause the conditions were shit but I was genuinely nervous that I was risking injury from all the people that was my instinct at least.
