How do you figure out the temperature at Blue?? I typically take the average of Allentown and Mount Pocono as an estimate

My bad Facebook is goofy as the first post on their page is from yesterday but below that are newer posts...probably because I commented on yesterday's post. They updated their page a lot today even with mug club stuff. Wow so sorry Blue. You're my boy!!

I would have gone I just didn't want to be at Blue for 6.5 hours especially considering the conditions that day and in need of a nap from party rocking the night before with college girls in ugly Xmas sweaters belting out Spice Girls and Journey songs

It's Palmerton they haven't thought that far ahead. Their social media sucks. No posts since 1:08pm yesterday. They should have had a picture this morning of the guns blasting for stoke..and a video with the marketing ladies announcing weekends plans and maybe showing off one of the slopeside grills featured sandwiches. As a marketing guy it's painful that they don't take better advantage of Facebook.

That's what their Facebook page said...I honestly don't think they should ever honor midweek passes on the weekends. If someone buys a midweek pass I'd assume they either work weekends or don't wanna be there on weekends when it's crowded. Maybe honor midweek passes the last weekend of the season.

Thanks for the clarification...and for what it's worth I've never been to a season passholder party. I'm really just there to drink beers in the lot and get made fun of for my 12 year old ski pants that have more holes than a bowling ball wahahahah

That's BS about not running the Burma chair on a weekend...I'm also guessing some passholders came a little later that day due to the party at 2.

I'll be in Arlington VA 12/23-25 and then Blue the true 12/26-1/1,and it's gonna be great. I've noticed the crowds come even later in the day that holiday week and 8am opening is nice on weekdays.

JFDan you put up Xmas lights? How festive of you..Atomic Jeff does as well which surprised me.

No snow this weekend going out to sea chance of rain or snow Tuesday.

I've found crowds so far this season at Blue to be light. Barely any liftlines and luckily they'll have most of the mountain open for Xmas week when the serious crowds descend on PAs best ski area. Remember all skiing up to this point had been bonus skiing and there's no such thing as bad conditions only bad skiers.

Camelback had one route open last weekend. They aren't doing any better. I've only been skiing Blue for 25 years I know their capabilities and how quickly they can open terrain. I think there's a good chance lazy mile opens on Sunday and a good chance for upper Main Street on Saturday. Crowds don't faze me and yes I skied over somebodies tips on midway.

The Facebook page said they're not sure yet and welcome back momskeeztoo..I believe they honored midweek passes the first Sunday they were open and last weekend.
