  1. 6 pack won't get too crowded it's early season. If the 6 pack was open during last Sunday's shitstorm there'd be zero lift lines.
  2. I'm way colder doing errands around town in my khaki pants, polo shirt and light jacket than when I ski on the coldest days. I think I need to buy a winter jacket since it could be an actual cold winter. For years I just would wear a hoodie or fleece
  3. Like 17 years ago I was stuck on the lift at sugarbush for an hour and a half and at the top they gave me a voucher for a free cocoa and it was like 60 degrees out so I had to wheel and deal in the cafeteria for a soda instead lol
  4. How was the snow on homestretch? Was it smooth? Sometimes homestretch is all mini rollers and whoop dee dos when it opens.
  5. Thats cool that you got to take the shuttle. I would have just driven to the top in my skis boots.
  6. Who is Hayata? New poster here?? I noticed early on that nobody was skiing to the 6-pack and homestretch still had fresh cord at 930. Nice report!!!
  7. I also had two pairs of Pre skis which were made in park city Utah. They were very nice looking skis. They looked similar to these and very similar to these K2s which look badass. I believe K2s also made a Grateful Dead ski..you ever listen to the dead Indiggio?
  8. And we received 6"+ Saturday
  9. Yeah a crazy amount of cars on the road today..next Friday will be worse as it's a big travel day.
  10. I liked when rossignal skis had roosters on the tips...
  11. When I first got into skiing in 6th grade at Blue I went from 135s to 160s the first season and the rentals were step ins. Then the next year at rocking horse ranch they had the old style bindings and I needed someone to show me how to get into them and they had safety straps probably from the late 70s
  12. How often are you on your bump skis??
  13. Back in the straight ski days I skied 195-200cm skis..my first shaped skis were action 198 length K2 el Caminos which trucked..I definitely got stopped by the yellow coats at Camelback on those skiing marijies delight. Shortest skis i had were my 170 length Atomic LT 11s when I got the bastard bug and Elan S12s in a 176 which was the longest they made. Those were turny moods with a radius of 15.9
  14. That's the typical length of all mountain skis that PASRs have. My mantras are 184s, Atomic Jeffs mantras and Kastles 184...my shiros are 193s...long skis truck short skis suck.
  15. 3 snowstorms. Are you counting this dusting today and Wednesday nights coating.
  16. Nah not as crowded as last weekend. Runs will be crowded but lifelines won't be much at all. Plus it's full prices now.
  17. Oh yeah you park at the top lodge because it saves on gas. I wouldn't want to waste my first run on Burma. Just leave at 6am like the philly people do.
  18. Nice Ski2Live see you in the line for first six pack.
  19. True lazy is a slow slow run..but I'll be skiing it a lot tomorrow for convenience and for the falls wooo
  20. High five!!!! I'll be happy with 12 runs tomorrow lol
  21. Ski2Live never makes it to the mountain before 10am..
  22. That's what I was thinking and if non season pass holders want to ski with season passholders and arrive early they can at Blue. At Camelback they'd be 100% out of luck and have to sit in the lodge and drink cocoa for an hour.
  23. 6pack is running..where is everybody??? Gotta get lower park open so we don't have to go all the way across to homestretch from the main streets.
  24. I do feel for the bumpers...aside from the natural bumps on midway the one warm day they've neglected seeding bumps so far this season at Blue.
  25. You are right..I think I'm gonna get a season pass at Camelback next season..
