  3. I truly think he's from another planet.
  4. I've never heard of Blue having issues with not having enough water for snowmaking.
  5. That's the way hillbillies say creek
  6. No need to split when the cocoa is comlimentary but I got word from the Camel mascot that they interlocked arms while drinking the cocoa in order to absorb each other's energy.
  7. Oh Lordy the evil gentiles..Wegmans used to have Lox or smoked salmon in their breakfast bar. All items are $8.95 a pound..bacon, eggs, potatoes, even fruit well my uncle would just load up on smoked salmon for $8.95 a pound because it was over $20 a pound by the deli and he ruined it because they removed the smoked salmon. It was what is known in retailing as a loss leader. And this uncle has a quarter million dollar plane and a couple shopping centers but is super frugal. He complained about the pours a local wine bar served recently and they do a standard 5 ounce pour but the glasses for red wine are large.
  8. Thanks for that but Ski2Live has to analyze all the options. He made the right choice this last Saturday skiing Camelback because he got to ski with SaltyAnt and get free cocoa..
  9. makes sense as Lox is like $22.99 a pound.
  10. Look how narrow it got and Indiggio you were up even earlier than normal.
  11. Do you mean this Saturday?
  12. If you aren't falling you aren't trying. If I were you I'd watch some ski instructional videos on YouTube. You'll get some pointers that you can try on the slopes. I've been trying to stay more forward and keep my hands forward as well especially in the bumps..cause once you get in the backseat forgetabout it..your skis just aren't as efficient.
  13. You really skied with no poles??? My hands have never hurt me from using poles. Heres the final video of the night. Me and Johnny style skiing the elevator at Jack Frost and yes it's steeper than white lightning probably 35 degrees at the crux
  14. An instructor would pick that apart. Here's another fun video from a few years ago at Jackson hole. The snow is pretty junky..
  15. The little tree shot to the skiers right of elevator with a mandatory air is pretty legit at Jackson frost. First time or two I skied that I needed to carefully plan my route
  16. Steamboat has lots of mellow glades..and when new to tree skiing it's more exploring and dilly dallying you don't have to charge the shit..most skiing deaths occur on Blue groomers because people easily hit speeds over 50 mph due to the width and pitch
  17. Try the Slalom glades to the right of upper nosedive they are good mellow glares with widely spaced trees..when skiing glades you ski between the trees..this is being being a herb at Jackson hole in the Bivoac woods.
  18. At Elk if you ski off piste the patrollers get piste off
  19. Tree skiing is allowed at Blue..when it snows over 10" I'll show you honeybee bowl..mandatory giant slalom turns required definitely red Trapezoid on the steezy scale....Have you learned Smartstyle SallyAnt??
  20. I am..I'm like my third favorite Bob Dylan song,"Tangled Up In Blue"..I'm lost without Blue...What I like about Blue you really know how to dance when you go up down Come around think about true romance. Blue is like FedEx..It Delivers..and this thread is like Roots favorite store at the mall..A Hot Topic!!!
  21. Sure they read them. I'm on a first name basis with the owner Barb Green and mountain manager and former reality tv star Jim Daly.
  22. Main Street is divided into upper Main Street and lower Main Street along with Barneys bumps. Here's a good combination..ski skytop then skate up to tuts lane..take connector to the woods next to Main Street I think sleepy hollow to X-ing which is a black diamond across upper Main Street over to switchback then through the woods to lazy mile across lazy mile into the woods to the lower marquee route down across crossover to challenge then before the falls hang a left onto lower sidewinder across to Central Park and into lower park...
  23. Ski Camelback during the day leave early enough to get the lunch price at Chinese buffet..write report..go to Star Wars at night buy $8.50 medium popcorn and $6 Dr. Pepper..and clap after every preview!!!
