Hey All, I’m back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 715am and it was 26 degrees under mostly cloudy sky’s. In the house was everybody except for Schifdawg, Nancy, Airhead, Sibhusky, Barb, Zonked, Noxidee, Phillycore, Angryhugo and Metz the Jersey Boy. They blew snow all over including Main Street, lazy mile, paradise and in the OG six pack lift line. Second Civilian chair and started on Razors which was nice at the top but was choppy and not so good lower down. Coming soon was really nice and I skied that twice then over to the super summit safari six pack and did Main Street which wasn’t that good then lazy mike which was decent. I alternated between coming soon, lazy and switchback which was also nice. Skied about a dozen runs then hungout in the lot and drank some beer and it was also another sausage sunday. What made the sausage Sunday extra savory was when BenM whipped out a bunch of hot dog on the third lift ride to gobble down. It was my first lift glizzy and was quite the delicious experience. JADIP

I was watching the tubing cams again and most are getting plenty of speed but a few who have to walk across several lanes to exit have been taken some massive wipeouts. One did a complete somersault walking across the tubing lanes

They need to get their shovels out and open the place up…gosh.

You live at about 1600 feet? Pops was talking about how when he was a kid in Scranton there’d be 3-4 feet of snow on the ground. I’m glad we got a little taste of winter. -

I don’t even know when Easter is but it’s a good possibility for me and can play by ear based on weather since lodging is readily available last minute. Where are you going with your son? April 1 is one of my favorite holidays. -

Hey All, I’m back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot real early because I allowed extra time for the snowy drive which was not necessary. In the house were Atomic Jeff, Johnny Law, PARidge, Mute, Boo bear, Becky Boo, Toast, BenM, Enjorales, Pops, Enjorales cousin, Falco, Spider, Dirtwolf, Bethlehem ford guy, Harold, Indiggio, Slim, TP4, VTMark and many others. There was about 3” of new snow on the upper mountain and less than an inch at the base. First run was a foggy challenge, the snow was ok, a few sticky areas…Main street was decent with a few choppy areas. I enjoyed Coming soon the most. There was some untracked on the far right side and I felt some float and the head wall had a nice natural snow surface on top of a hardpack base and looked choppy but the snow was very forgiving. I kept lapping coming soon the majority of my session. It was snowing very wet most of the time I skied and I was soaked..mainly my legs…had a few beers in the lot including a Heady Topper compliments of Dirtwolf and when I peaced out a few people were going to the season pass holder lunch… Ski everybody tomorrow..I think the snow is gonna be really fast.

I wouldn’t be surprised if you return home from skiing to a snowman. -

Zero here, I’m still leaving a little extra time for the drive cause could be a little slick going over the mountain. -
I’m surprised she still works.

Thanks for the tag. Pack sunscreen and swimming trunks. -
Same but I’ve night skied before a trip and definitely skied the morning after a late arrival…a buffer day is nice.
