  1. Just an FYI mayday is tomorrow at big Boulder. 8-10 features.
  2. I personally like alpine slides better then mountain coasters. I used to ride the alpine slide all day at camelback. I know I first was there with the JCC camp when I was about 9 and only rode it twice and I chose to go there for my bday and did bumper boats and the alpine slide at least a dozen times. I've also been on the alpine slide at Stowe before and it's fun but not as good as the old camelback one which was like 630 vertical feet and almost a mile long.
  3. Totally going off at ABasin...Pali lift reopened today...apparently yesterday wasn't that busy but today the lot was filled up by 9:40am and like 15 cars got towed from highway 6. This video shows the two feet of mid May Pow!!!! This guy Johnathon Buckhouse really gets after it and he's only 25 and married with a kid on the way. I didn't even buy my first shower curtain until I was 25.. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=r9AVI6F9Q10
  4. Neat so they now have a mountain coaster and an alpine slide.
  5. 20" new at copper mountain so far and they've been closed for a month.
  6. Looks like Abasin has received a foot+ so far with anothe 1-2 feet in the forecast.
  7. Wow just wow...
  8. Yeah it was action park back when it was Vernon Valley/Great Gorge
  9. Looks like Friday could be a powder day at Abasin
  10. I tried to learn how to surf in my soaking tub and it was hard.
  11. Have fun Schif. Are you gonna learn how to surf??
  12. Nice finally summertime weather.
  13. I remember when skier150 was the coach of the dark side free ride team.
  14. I still look at the Abasin webcams daily. They closed the Pali lift for the season today. Not for lack of snow but because the snowpack was becoming unstable with wet slides and rotting snow. I can't believe montazuma bowl is still open. Probably another week for that and then Lenawee lift and black mountain express rolling into June. I'm tempted to head back maybe the first weekend in June. Flights are cheap.
  15. Show rooming means checking out the item in the store then buying online right?
  16. Hookers lol...I actually don't buy that much online. I think only my skis I bought online and everything else was from a ski shop. It's different with work. We even buy our paper online. Easier to go to staples.com than the store.
  17. Wildebeest do you buy much gear online?
  18. Nice Moe...I always wanted to have a reverse gangbang with all the ladies of the fact la if Lyfe starting with Mrs. Garrett
  19. Actually my grandparents gifted me money for college along with their other 11 grand kids and then my parents paid for my college monthly on their credit card and reimbursed themselves from my account. Yeah I'm very lucky.
  20. Bahahahahaha cause you're a tough customer.
  21. My parents paid for my college with their Visa card for the points.
  22. You use your brain more that for sure. I sometimes get asked questions I don't know the answer to...it's amazing how I still keep getting new questions. A lot of the older people ask if we cut the granite and sandblast on site..and when I say no they seem less at ease. What does it matter? So I just say we have a joint venture with a sandblast company in Vermont. That's like someone asking me if I cooked tonight and saying no I have a joint venture with the restaurant down the street. Dealing with difficult customers is the hardest part of my job. Customers who are engineers and graphic designers are the worst. I've had people order a 36" wide memorial stone and complain that it's 36 and 1/4". I've had people complain about how the number 3 looks on a tombstone saying that the top of the 3 is smaller than the bottom. Also when we set a memorial stone on a hillside it can be level side to side and front to back and not look level due to the slope. Old people have a lot of trouble writing checks..I've learned to double check them. If its $1830 theyll often write in one thousand eighth three. Old ladies especially give me sour puss faces when they write checks. We don't take Amex or discover due to higher fees so we get sour puss faces from those people before they whip out their Visa or MasterCard. Oh well if it wasn't for the customers I'd have to sell insurance or some shit.
  23. Yeah but bucks county is pretty far from you. I'm only about 15 minutes from bucks county and I'm not familiar with it at all. I was just at a wedding in the montgomeryville/north wales area and all I know is there's a lot of rich people but it's near doylestown.
  24. Why would you be familiar with Bucks county??
