Yeah what's kept me from there is that I've always heard it's super crowded at snowbird. Maybe next season I'll do a trip in Utah. I'm not hitting PowMow though. My friends who live out there even confirmed that it's super flat and that the lifts are super slow. You're right blue was better. And keep Vermont out out of a Rocky Mountain thread. That's happened to me like 8 times at Jackson hole...Johnny style even called me a loser for skiing fast there but he skis slow as fuck.

It might be a smoke free mountain. I'm surprised you didn't get in trouble for smoking blunts. Speaking of customer service I just spent 40 minutes on hold and on the phone with my health insurance company because they over billed is $7,000 and holy shit I got one hell of a run around and nothing was resolved. Makes me feel a lot better about the customer service we provide because although I'm often a snarky asshole I put on a good face when my customers are on the phone or in the office.

Sucks about the liftlines at steamboat although you only have to take the gondola once a day. I skied there in April so no crowds.

MLK weekend is an uncrowded time at Jackson hole. JH is dead from January 2nd until early February and busy before and after that time period.

You were at Jackson hole during one of their slowest times of the year and were at steamboat during one of their busiest times of the year. It's not apples to apples. 30 minute liftline for gondola at steamboat wow is that at like 830?? Also at steamboat their free parking is in freaking Kansas. Actually when I go to copper I pay $20 to park right at the base of the super bee lift

Big sky does 1/3 the skier visits as Steamboat and is larger

Unfortunately when I was at created butte back in 2001 there was only about a 40" base so the extreme terrain wasn't open..silverton also has a lot of legit terrain apparently as well as telluride.

I've never skied in Utah but seems as though Utah has better snow and Colorado has more resorts...I think you should go to Montana next winter. I'd say go to big sky and Bridger bowl but you'll likely find something wrong about them.

Nice do you wear a headlamp when you work at night? When I lived in Montana I usually worked after skiing...that's the case for most ski bums as the goal is to avoid a 9-5 and scrape together a few part time jobs.
