When I skied Elk in high school I got 930 vert on my avocet watch that's on the right side looking up. That watch was very accurate and I always got just shy of 1100 for blue mountain. The mountain that lied the most about vert was windham. They claimed the center high speed quad was 1550 vert and was really 1280. I just looked up elks vert and here is what I got. From Wikipedia. No way elk is 1,000 vert...900 yes.

Last roll call thread of the season and a rare April one. Is anybody gonna be at Blue mountain the true mountain this weekend? Hopefully the rain will clear up by 8am Saturday and looks like the sun will be shining on Sunday. It's sort of surreal that Blue is closing but it's been a long season.

And should be pretty warm for them to soften. Your crew actually likes skiing in the seeds.

I'd feel smug if I was camelback as well. Enjorales years ago in the Ray Tuthill days Camelback passholders would ski blue early and late season because cameltoe was closed

Depending on snow I'm probably gonna start my trip at Winter Park...Abasin is in a mini storm cycle right they've had some 4"-8" snowfalls and everything is open.
