  1. Doesn't look like much rain until Monday!!! Way to get after it!!!
  2. Yeah I agree but they get after it and ring cowbell. I think they're picking up a friend.
  3. Wow just wow Wow just wow
  4. Hey All, Back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. The temperature at the base was in the low 40s and near 50 degrees at the summit to begin the day..mad inversion yo!! In the house were JFDan, Root, Ryan, NMSKI, Justo, TheDude4bides, Enjorales, Nastar Glenn, Terry, The Real KT, Toast, Rose, Indiggio, Tarponhead, Slim, West Chester homeys with the cowbell and many others. Conditions began as semi firm spring snow and changed to full on spring pretty fast except for the bumps which took more time to soften. Challenge had a few skeet spots up top but decent coverage otherwise and pretty smooth. Razors had bumps on the right that were semi glacial early and semi smooth spring snow. Nightmare was free of bumps and wide wall to wall nice..Dreamweaver also good. Paradise was thin to bare in a few spots it was rowdy. Lazy mile was fun to ski a few skeet spots in areas that were bare the other week. Main Street was so nice early some nice grooming and fast. Switchback had a few technical sections but generally good. Did one Burma and back fairly early with a foray into lower Widowmaker which unfortunately wasn't tits deep but had some unskied firm spring snow..Burma was nice save for a few rocks in corners. With the inversion early skiers and riders were greeted to a gust of warm air midway up the lift. It was like a hairdryer and very moist and some rain drops fell sporadically. Had some good parking lot beers and the sun is shining in the A. JADIP
  5. OMG I'm laughing so hard...thanks for that!!! Call geek squad they keep space bars on demand...
  6. And NMSKI I'm gonna have to give you three big Dings for horsing around!!! Ding Ding Ding
  7. I think the announcement was around 4:20 and by 4:22 TP4 was feeling some type of way. You'll be fine. I've had times when my lower back or neck or foot was messed up and I still skied and I didn't notice the pain until after skiing. See you out there. I still have half a bag of the peanut butter filled pretzels Root brought to the party.
  8. You remind me of my 4th favorite Hall and Oates song..."Out of Touch". Blue is closing tomorrow at 3pm until Wednesday morning.
  9. Shadows you up to anything fun this weekend??
  10. Keep politics out of this thread Moe. For that I'm giving you six big Dings Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding
  11. Nice moe you think you'll be back for closing weekend at Blue??
  12. Yeah they're open for 7 hours tomorrow...rain is supposed to start around 2pm. I'm gonna ski 8-10am drink beers and then ski a little more. Spring rules gotta get it. Maybe you can call in sick tomorrow.
  13. They're closing for three days in a row not four. I guess they anticipate with the forecast rain they aren't gonna sell many tickets or hot chocolates. I'm cool with skiing tomorrow and then having Wednesday to Sunday with them open all bonus to me. I'm gonna need to ski tomorrow, one weekday, next weekend and then my six days in Colorado to hit 60 days. Not bad as I feel like I semi slacked..only night skied maybe 10-12 times and missed a few days.
  14. Didn't you do that early in the season and mid season at Spring
  15. I just messaged Matt edge as he usually goes to blue on Sunday's and isn't on Facebook so I could see him showing up to a closed mountain. Maybe bear creek or camelback will be open. I think Montage will be open as well and less chance of rain there according to Ski2Live. Maybe you and VTMark can see the Beauty and the Beast movie
  16. Well now I already have a brunch date at Billy's diner on Sunday lol TP4 is already bitching on Facebook.
  17. Maybe, Root you said you're going up to Killington for your bday right?
  18. That's what I figured good they'll be open Wednesday to Friday.
  19. That and Troegs Perpetual are my go tos. Used to be Dirt Wolf but I got sick of it. I don't really drink beer once ski season is over. Mostly Jack and cokes at the bar. I actually was at the bar last night for the first time in 15 days. OK lol I do wanna buy the mandarin orange beer toast had. That was good.
  20. I need to buy Victory Hop Ranch!!!
  21. What's the big deal about skiing in the rain. Just breakout your gore tex.
