  1. Nice report and that's dedication to drive 10 hours for a long weekend!!!
  2. OMG I'm laughing so hard...thanks for that!!!!
  3. Way to get after it and your costs for the season are about as much as one fancy dinner for two. Blue needs one of these.
  4. Your record days is 21? My best is 2006-07...119 days and 2.4 million vert. I skied more vert than that in 96-97 but way less days.
  5. You think the 15 year old who runs blues Facebook page knows?? Someone on Facebook said they saw an ad in the valley lodge advertising $17 lift tickets in 3/17 hmmmm maybe Nastar Glenn and Marty were blowing smoke up my ass saying 3/12...at least they aren't closing on 311 day..then Blue would definitely be all mixed up and wouldn't know what to do yuk yuk yuk.
  6. They always close with rain in the forecast. Anyway should be fine weather Wednesday to Sunday. Showers in the forecast morning and night. The old Ray Tuthill blue never closed for rain. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to ski 61 days in a row.
  7. On blues Facebook page they say Wednesday to Monday looks good hmmmm
  8. FYI blue is closed tomorrow for rain.
  9. Nah all of us were getting busted...even root.
  10. You notice the ski patrollers have left us alone for the last 7 years...mic drop
  11. Was just talking to an employee at blue. They know season passholders are hoping for at least an extra weekend or two. I said that if you close March 12 earliest closing ever passholders will be furious. Let's see if my power of persuasion helps.
  12. I occasionally will order hot chocolate with whipped cream when I'm having breakfast at a diner instead of coffee. I also sometimes get a happy meal from McDonald's. It's funny when they ask if it's for a boy or a girl. I have a pretty deep voice do I sound like a girl lol. Atomic Jeff took this photo.
  13. This could change things. Jack Frost Dan and Johnny law were talking about a potential humdinger of a snowstorm for next week...I'm shaking my tits and it's not even Friday.
  14. You only spite yourself not having a season pass because then you aren't gonna go up for just an hour or two or when the weather is questionable.
  15. Did you work on an oil rig?? Let us know when you'll be at Blue..the only night this week I'm sure of is Thursday. Tomorrow looks like rain and Wednesday nights I sing karaoke and need to rest up for that. Have fun in Vermont.
  16. Camelback doesn't allow tailgating. You should get a season pass for a season at camelback and see how you like it. Some years blue is open later than camelback and some seasons it's the reverse. I can't enjoy camelback as much as Blue because the runs are shorter, even more crowded and it's more jersey and New York people. Plus it's double as long of a drive(almost triple the mileage). I haven't been to camelback in like 4 years. I am hoping Blue stays open past this weekend as I'm not going to Colorado until April 4th and would like to bridge the skiing gap without having to buy lift tickets and drive far. Good one Kyle.
  17. Weird usually they close at 5pm. A sickbird told me that you barely ski anymore but are finally tall enough to ride the rollercoasters at Knoebels.
  18. It's more often that blue closes early due to lack of crowds than lack of snow. Anyway you're gonna do what you're gonna do..who knows next season blue might be open until April if March is cold and snowy. Also it hasn't been announced that blue is closing March 12th for good. As of now it's completely rumors. What ski areas do you like better than blue??
  19. 7 years ago on Thursday nights they would remove the tables and have a DJ. That's actually where me and my Montana friend Tom met Marnie and Yvette.and then ended up smoking up and eating spicy party mix back at the 49er then going to the club that used to be in the basement of the White Buffalo. I'll have to make a return trip there next year.
  20. Nice report Moe...I saw this on Teton gravity. Bin 22 used to have a different name and that's where I injured myself on the dance floor.
  21. That's silly...every season is different and almost no ski area stays open as long as possible. Most stay open until daily ticket people stop coming and revenue dries out. What other mountain is as good as blue and only 20 minutes from your house? Some years they close mid March some in early April.
  22. Wow well welcome back. I guess that means you aren't a young female..oh well. Why did you give up skiing???
  23. Sweetplanks are you gonna be at Blue mountain this weekend??
