  1. I didn't go not cause of wind cause I thought it would be icy death and still have a bit of an afterglow from great spring skiing yesterday. I wonder if they'll blow tonight???
  2. Moe Ghoul made this article http://www.tetongravity.com/story/ski/tgr-forum-summit
  3. Did you stop at CiCis pizza on the way back from Blue today? I ask cause I was at that Staples around noon and was thinking you might be in ther eating. Didn't see your car in the lot though.
  4. That's s great deal!!! Plus after you redeem the points you can cancel.
  5. What's kept you from returning? April 3rd, 2013
  6. I think you're the only PASR who skis Shawnee.
  7. Not blue they'll be open into April. Not camelback either. Will be last weekend for montage, bear creek and prob Jack Frost. Any skiing now in PA is bonus in my opinion.
  8. Only a 30% chance. Should keep crowds down.
  9. No rain in the forecast Saturday.
  10. Well I hope you have some sort of rewards card.
  11. Wow they have a trader joes in Vermont now. I've still never been to one.
  12. Now what you can do is find another credit card with a 0% introductory rate and transfer the balance over.
  13. Why do you hate Boulder? I think it's a super nice city.
  14. In my 20s I didn't make much but actually had more expenses so would use credit cards for ski trips and bars and stuff and slowly pay them off. Ran them up pretty good and paid them off in my early 30s. Now I make more money and have less expenses and the only way I can spend a little more is like last night when I paid for Root, Atomic Jeff and Tom at point Phillips hotel. What's the interest rate? I'm guessing that was mainly for equipment.
  15. I can't say that I've maxed out credit cards many times.
  16. 7 runs already wow. How early do they open??
  17. Drink a lot of red bull before work on Monday.
  18. April 2nd at the earliest. The bar at the lower lodge was closed yesterday and some dude wanted to buy a beer off me in the parking lot.
  19. A big problem is that most of the insane asylums have been shut down so they just put the mentally ill on the streets. Barb you live in a bubble of bourgeois bohemians. Wealthy crunchy people who will spend $8 on organic pasta and fair trade coffee yet drive around in big Eco disaster SUVs. I bet some of them even feel guilty that they're white.
  20. I've only skied Sunday River once. It's fun better than southern Vermont
  21. You two are sharing a bag? You get a lot of vacation time!!
  22. You know Hawaii buys homeless people one way tickets to the main land. And when they get to Cali they buy them grayhound bus tickets. Alaska has a big homeless problem due to high cost of living and a large prevalence of alcoholism. It's sad but there are lots of jobs out there and some homeless have jobs but can't afford rent. Places like Boulder are welcoming to all..they should take in some Syrian refugees as well..they'll open up take middle eastern restaurants The Lehigh valley has a colder climate than Boulder and it precipitates a lot more here. Boulder isn't as good for homeless as Florida or Southern California but it's a far cry from NYC and Chicago. Empty houses outnumber homeless 6:1..the utilitarian in me would say why not give them foreclosed homes..and some are bought up by rescue missions and such. Florida has the best oranges and Hawaii the best avacados. All I have here is dingleberries
  23. Hey all, I'm back from a fun day at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 200pm and it was mostly sunny and 52 degrees. Root was in the house and had some beer with him and then hit the hill. Razors was the run of the day with fun technical spring snow on top on the left, nice widely spaced bumps on the right and really smooth lower down. Homestretch was glue as expected. Nightmare to Dreamweaver was pretty nice as well. Challenge was also pretty nice and sidewinder had some smooth areas on the right side. Went back to the lot with Root after 5-6 runs and Atomic Jeff and his friend Tom arrived..I had another beer and then a Miller high lyfe on the lift we got from son girl in exchange for an IPA..then repeated some of the same runs along with Barneys bumps which are deep, more razors bumps, and more nightmare Dreamweaver. Did about 6-7 more runs then back to the lot for another beer, some peanut butter filled pretzels and then went to point Phillips with atomic Jeff, root and tom and had wings to share and andouille sausage and brisket meal..was super good and now back in the A...JADIP just another day in paradise. Already down into the 40s snow will set up hardcore for tomorrow. Glad I got another spring day in. Was super good.
