  1. MLK weekend is an uncrowded time at Jackson hole. JH is dead from January 2nd until early February and busy before and after that time period.
  2. You were at Jackson hole during one of their slowest times of the year and were at steamboat during one of their busiest times of the year. It's not apples to apples. 30 minute liftline for gondola at steamboat wow is that at like 830?? Also at steamboat their free parking is in freaking Kansas. Actually when I go to copper I pay $20 to park right at the base of the super bee lift
  3. Big sky does 1/3 the skier visits as Steamboat and is larger
  4. Unfortunately when I was at created butte back in 2001 there was only about a 40" base so the extreme terrain wasn't open..silverton also has a lot of legit terrain apparently as well as telluride.
  5. I've never skied in Utah but seems as though Utah has better snow and Colorado has more resorts...I think you should go to Montana next winter. I'd say go to big sky and Bridger bowl but you'll likely find something wrong about them.
  6. Nice do you wear a headlamp when you work at night? When I lived in Montana I usually worked after skiing...that's the case for most ski bums as the goal is to avoid a 9-5 and scrape together a few part time jobs.
  7. Zonked snowmass is Aspen lol.
  8. Bad conditions at Abasin?? Jackson hole had pretty bad conditions when we were there does that lower the ranking of it?? I never knew Breck had challenging terrain. I've avoided it because I thought it was flat except for the top 500 vert or so. You should try beaver creek. Lots of steeps there. Aren't lack of terrain and small the same thing???
  9. Why is ABasin the last? Cause it's smallest? What makes Breck number one?
  10. Zonked what's your favorite mountain?? I remember you went to Aspen years ago. The combination of highlands, snowmass and Aspen mountain in my opinion is better than steamboat but still not much extreme terrain.
  11. So if you ski from 8-10am you do absolutely nothing the rest of the day??
  12. Steamboat is mainly an intermediate mountain it's not known as an extreme place like Jackson hole or even some of Abasin. Although they receive a lot of snowfall due to its low elevation the snow melts fast. I like the town of Steamboat a lot and if you are there in the summer time there's a rodeo. Most places out west there are not a handful of runs I can't ski..that's really only for the expert mountains like Jackson, squaw valley, perhaps a few things at whistler. I like copper better than steamboat personally and although steamboat has more vert you are mainly skiing the upper half. Anyway after Jackson hole Colorado is flat!!!
  13. Ahhh I'd rather ski in the morning when everything is smooth and then get stuff done...like laundry.
  14. I'll prob ski there one day weekend of the 8th and 9th. Mainly so I can go to barly creek on the way home. Haven't been there in 4 years.
  15. The price for Sunday night tickets hasn't even gone up that much since Indiggio was in college. I think it's $30 now for Sunday nights. I remember when Blue used to have ladies day, men's day, business person day, college day and ski club day where I believe you saved $10 on lift tickets.
  16. Wow credit card companies hate customers like you.
  17. TP4 you figure out how much 1+ week in Colorado cost??
  18. Why you get the points on your card and can pay it off as fast or slow as you want!!! Unless your limit is low.
  19. I hope TP4 and VTMark got theirs.
  20. That is awesome Toast..thanks for that!!!
  21. Passes for next season now up to $599
  22. Blue pass is up to $599 from $449
  23. You could see mount Washington from whiteface u sure it wasn't Mansfield because it takes the clearest of days to see mount Washington from Stowe and sugarbush.
  24. I'd skip the insurance What's the millenial offer? Is that up to age 34 or something
  25. Nice 14 more days of being open unless they close during the week next week. I still think they might do a bonus weekend the following weekend. I don't think I've ever skied blue on a Sunday night. Every other night yes. I remember doing a few double dip sessions on Saturdays
