I arrived at the base at 11:15AM pretty much did a few things I had to do at work and procrastinated most things till Monday. Had a hop ranch in the lower lot and atomic Jeff pulled in around 1130. It was sunny and 64 degrees although clouds dominated the sky for much of the session. First run hit up the corn on X-Ing following by the lower bumps which were the same size as yesterday but much faster. Lower Main Street was a creamed corn dream. So much better than the mad sweet and low sugar snow. Skied Barneys again then went over to nightmare Dreamweaver which had a narrow entrance due to the race happening on razors. For what it's worth the snow on razors for the race was smooth and fast thanks to all the chemicals on it. Amazing being able to hear people's skis in these temperatures. Nightmare to Dreamweaver was similar creamed corn and applesauce and me and atomic Jeff hit those bumps on Dreamweaver several times and they were good but the beginning is much flatter then the end so a few times I lost control and bailed oh well. Went to the lot and had a quick beer with atomic Jeff then went out for a few more. Skied lazy to the falls which was empty and not bad and another nightmare Dreamweaver. On the drive home my car hit 77 degrees in a few spots. Only 21 degrees colder than my favorite boy band. These 70+ degree late winter temperatures are the new normal but might as well enjoy it before we have 36 hours of winter Saturday night to Monday morning. Ski everybody tomorrow.

Boarders and people on fat skis are having the most fun. Some of the Gary's were on bump skis and outside the bumps pretty tough in the apple sauce.

A couple seasons ago it poured rain late morning and just drank beer under a tent and then went to CBI to see epic boobs.

I bet edge was loving the bumps. Yesterday bumps were better than today..just slightly like a 9 out of 10 vs a 7.5 out of 10. A full ten degrees warmer today than yesterday. Silly warm out. I'll post a report in a little bit. Wrapping things up.

I'm heading to Blue now I worked enough today. Already almost 70 degrees.

What a shitshow. I might have to take a summer ski trip out there this year. Mammoth and squaw will both be open well into July.

I've done a three hopper to JH before when I missed my flight. Allentown to Chicago to Denver to JH. Once on the way home I did JH to Denver one day...then Denver to DC next day and DC to Newark third due to snowstorms and the way there was Newark to JH direct. I also once flew Philly to Chicago then Chicago to Jackson flight ended up in Denver and I drove the final 500+ miles to Jackson in a snowstorm and arrived at 5am instead of noon the day before. Travel can be rowdy.

You can also just carry boots loose on the plane in additional to carryon I've seen some gapers do that as well.

You put your boots in a carryon bag they fit fine...can fit other stuff like snow pants in there as well. Atomic Jeff fits a lot of stuff in it. That way worst case scenario is they lose your skis or snowboard but you still have your boots.

Two pairs of skis plus boots and the weight of the bag would be over 50 pounds and only gapers check their boots.
