  1. Jay peak got over three feet. I have a feeling it's pretty solid now at blue. Everything froze hard. My car was entombed drove it into an unplowed spot and it immediately got stuck but I shoveled it out this morning. Roads are worse than yesterday. In Allentown 13.7" at the airport as of 2pm yesterday so maybe they squeaked out 14-15"
  2. Hoe Moe you have a level 4 mancrush on Johnny Law...
  3. His comment seemed a bit racist???
  4. Hope you skip that morning coffee at home and make opening. Only way to experience fresh.
  5. Nice report...glad you enjoy the gnar. A lot of lower level skiers only like firm groomed snow. When you start skiing out west a lot of the conditions you experience is tracked up fresh snow...
  6. How was the drive up there?
  7. All I bought this season was a pair of low light goggles, socks and underarmor. For next season I need gloves, new skis, helmet, pants and prob some hand knit jawns
  8. That's crazy that they were closed. This snow that we received had to be skied immediately. It's settling and freezing so no longer powder.
  9. Wow that was a good nap. Other highlights included being able to ski back to my car in the lot twice and ski back to the lift from my car. Those yahoos parked in the middle of the entrance road. Lol. Also helped two different people get unstuck.
  10. Hey All, I'm back from another fun day at Blue mountain the true mountain. I woke up sometime around 5am and it was dumping snow. Looked like about 6-7 inches in the A. My drive up was uneventful and I stopped at sheetz for a donut and gas and ended up arriving at Blue mountain around 7am. Atomic Jeff arrived shortly thereafter and we drove across the street to the employee lot to see Johnny law just waking up. Root was also staying over in the lot and also in the house were Toast, Shadows, GSSucks, -Dan, Indiggio, Justo, MBike Mike, Nastar Glenn, Root, Ryan, Mrs Snowbunski, Matt Edge, TheDude4Bides and many others. Almost a foot of fresh in the liftline and a rowdy skate to second chair. The winds were howling at the top but not terrible the rest of the mountain. At the top there were drifts everywhere. First run I skied challenge. Was a combination of drifts and exposed areas at the top and I floundered a little bit lower down was very deep untracked snow. Density was a 7 on a one to ten scale with one being light and dry cold smoke and 10 being slush. The benefit of the beefy snow was that in most untracked areas you didn't hit bottom. Second run I skied Sidewinder which had tons of untracked, some drifts and more untracked. I repeated that and then went down switchback which was nearly tracked out but I found some fresh along the sides. Up Main Street chair and I had fresh on X-Ing and the right side of the bumps. Then back to the six pack. Skied a few more sidewinder runs still finding swaths of untracked and then was gonna check out honey bee bowl but seemed sketch and justo and GSSucks got after it. Then the snow started becoming mixed with graupel and then sleet and it really hurt my face. Into the lot and had some beer during the sleet storm. Then back on the snow and skied some fun stuff including the Tbar line a few times, Burma and right under the Main Street chair which had just enough snow to be good. Went to slopeside and they we're short staffed and I didn't feel like waiting an hour for a $17 bacon steeze burger so bounced skied to the base and had a beer with Ryan. Was a super fun day and props to PennDott for keeping the roads good!!
  11. What a fucking day pretty nice storm. I'm driving home report to come in an hour or so.
  12. Made it to sheetz in 20 minutes. Easy driving.
  13. Sleet as far north as quakertown. About 6-7 inches so far in the A. Gotta clear off my car.
  14. Law is at the base of Main Street chair now. They are calling this storm a thumper.
  15. To sleep not for morning parking. They usually shut lower gate overnight...top lodge is a terrible way to start on a powder day and terrible for parking lot stops.
  16. Dumping at Blue...storm is ahead of schedule and no Virga..
  17. This is the best report this season!!
  18. Have fun breaking trail on shuttle.
  19. Storm is trending west. Snow totals cut down in the big cities. Looks like sleet will make its way into bucks county. Let's hope it doesn't turn to sleet in the valley and poconos.
  20. Yeah cause not enough decent reports on PASR. Alpinezone and Teton Gravity I lurk.
  21. Nice and sounds better than the report on Alpinezone from over the weekend!!! I don't disapprove of bumps in the woods..it just means they get a ton of traffic.
  22. Tons of moisture to work with. Many are saying this storm will likely over perform. So maybe more than the forecasted 18-28"
