Snow in the forecast Friday and it says change to freezing rain. If blue can pull out a couple inches overnight and a couple inches Friday I’ll call it a win.

Everybody is away this week, MomSkeez skiing the big mountain montana(whitefish), Indiggio and the bumpers are in Canada, NMSki in Taos, Ski instructor crew at Big Sky…deepest snow on the planet right now is at whiteface. Waist deep. Yesterday afternoon full on parking lot pizza nursing my sore foot I was already itching to ski more after opening bells Friday Saturday and Sunday…you’re not missing anything besides pizza shrimp ryan beer, PSUFly beer, a possible snowstorm shit snoop dogg was even in the parking lot yesterday and I rapped for the Bethlehem ford crew with BenM beat boxing and it was a weak rap. Nope you’re not missing anything lol

Where are you going?

With the initial start of precipitation the temperature dropped 4 degrees in three minutes…mostly Virga on the radar as the atmosphere is so dry, then a dry slot..boys and girls we could get a slushy inch.

There’s way less traffic than normal for this time of day. Must be something happening.

The timing of this being in the overnight hours could help things out. I’m not that optimistic about this but have early alarms set for tomorrow just in case.

Guess what SaltyPants..the snow is now melting which means the ponds are filling back up again and hopefully the temperature drops low enough tonight for a mini snowmaking assault before tomorrow nights weather event. We need a freaking blizzard..

A run later there was a ski patroller in a sled on the falls and atomic Jeff was even talking about an injured skier. This is the kind of snow today where you don’t want to show off even if there’s a cameraman from You @ Blue on the scene.

I also skied one run on Burma with Schifdawg in my shadow and I said wazup to pops and enjo at the end of vista. I don’t get over to that area much but Burma wasn’t bad and I skipped yeti as it looked busy and milked a little frozen cord right along the edge.

Hey all, I’m back from a fun morning at Blue mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 715am and it was 26 degrees under overcast sky’s. In the house were Atomic Jeff, Toast, Kevin Thomas, Justo, Dime, Boo, Mute, MBike, Bethlehem Ford Crww, JFDan, BenM, PSUFly, Schifdawg, Pops, Enjorales, ZZSlopeX Hayeta, Dirtwolf, Matt Edge, Salty and many others. First run in challenge was decent and pretty consistent with decent cord, Main Street had nice snow on the top half and real sticky lower, Lazy mile was decent as was coming soon while lower paradise was filled with little rollers. The guns were turned off but production the previous 33 hours was excellent with the majority of terrain resurfaced. Crowds were a bit less than yesterday but still busy. This weeks sausage Sunday was a pizza edition and BenM took a lot of life style shots of Enjorales tossing dough. There was also shrimp. All in all a fun day with not the best conditions but better than not skiing. I’ll prob be back next Tuesday for opening. JADIP
