  1. We shall see. They said the amount of early bird passes available is the same amount as they sold last year according to the 15 year old who runs their Facebook.
  2. Ok purchased pass I don't trust that pass will be activated for next season since I've never made an online purchase with them before and when it was all confirmed they thanked me by my last name which was odd. I'll print out email confirmation just to have and I screenshot purchase confirmation. If my pass doesn't work tomorrow I'm gonna be real mad and then walk into guest services and have them fix it after a thorough explanation. I personally think this season pass deal will cost blue money. They will lose $70 off every season pass holder who bought early bird last year and about $200 from people like me who would have waited until the fall. That definitely won't be offset by a few new pass holders who take advantage of the deal. The deal is dynamite. Least I've paid for a blue pass since I was in high school.
  3. I'm gonna try on my iPhone in a few. I've never bought online before.
  4. Ski the fattest skis you have and point em.
  5. Enjorales have fun skiing and post a report. I'll be up tomorrow.
  6. Ridge what's cool is you can see Mansfield from whiteface and from Mansfield can see mount Washington and from the Maine coast can see mount Washington.
  7. I've never bought a pass online only in person. I'll try later on at work. Slim bought his at midnight wow just wow.
  8. Was just saying the season passholder party has nothing to do with the closing date. They could close before March 11. You never know what Mother Nature will throw. Picture is from 2009. Sexkitten no longer skis, BobLikesCats has passed away sadly, Melissa doesn't ski anymore and ThinkSnow Greg doesnt ski anymore.
  9. The Stowe mountain lodge, Stowe mountain club and Stowe country club isn't part of the deal. Those properties will be retained by the amount Mansfield company. The Stowe mountain lodge and spa was $125 million to build.
  10. 6 hours and 35 minutes from albrightsville to Stowe Vermont. Stowe is at the same latitude as Whiteface and only about 50 miles east as the crow flies. Lake placid is at least an hour closer than Stowe...
  11. Only $55 at sunny sports.
  12. I didn't even know Ryan's real last name until his first visit to a mountain other than blue in the stats lol.
  13. I had my AC on in my car on the way home from blue Saturday and Sunday and I expect the same on Thursday.
  14. That was a cold day. I believe -5 when I pulled in.
  15. Moe remember when you brought me that special lunch at Jack Frost? nobody cared that I ate that in the lodge.
  16. Because blue has no idea what their closing date is in February..could be in April could be next weekend
  17. Do you put your shoes in a locker or bring them back to your car??
  18. Everything is weather dependent. Blue gets the PASR endorsement because they are the best. Closest, longest runs, fastest lifts and for now they don't charge money to use their bathrooms although I think Barb should install pay toilets.
  19. What time??? Is that a Saturday? Sounds like a conspiracy against you and mark who have to work Saturdays. Are you an in the lodge Booter upper?? As Toast said no..save the gaper questions for Ski2Live
  20. Stowe is still cool sucks that it's farther away than Jackson hole and Colorado at least travel time and crowded and usually icy and expensive.
  21. Great answers from everybody!!!!
  22. Kids in Pennsylvania only have off yesterday for Presidents' Day so crowds should be light especially with how warm it is. I'll be up Thursday late morning or early afternoon to enjoy the 70 degree weather.
  23. Most definitely was just thinking that. Camelback does a similar amount of skier visits as Stowe..somewhere in the 400-500k per year range. I don't believe the indoor water park was part of the resort sale that was built later at a cost in the hundreds of millions. Camelback lodge and indoor waterpark was $170 million. I'm actually gonna stay at the Kallahari resort in April going there for a convention.
  24. Camelback was $69 million. http://www.firsttracksonline.com/2013/10/10/pennsylvanias-camelback-ski-resort-is-sold-for-69-25m/
