  1. Moe Ghoul how cold was it this morning at Smuggs? Temepratures in PA were very vernontlike today. Vermont weather without the drive
  2. Thanks for the bump Moe Ghoul only 16 days till Jackson hole. 22 feet so far this season and a couple more forecast for this week. TP4 will be in the house maybe my Montana friend Tom and Doobie Don.
  3. Hey All, I'm back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 730am and it was 13 degrees with moderate winds. The snow guns were blasting on nightmare-Dreamweaver, razors edge, switchback, sidewinder and random areas. In the house were Johnny Law, VTMark, TP4, NMSki, Indiggio, Root, GSSucks, Matt Edge, JFBB Dan, Tarponhead, ZZSlope and many more. First run on challenge was super good. Nice soft packed powder but unfortunately it was closed for the race team by 8:11am. Main Street was nice and skied that many times. Paradise was alright but little slow and contested near the last left hander. Lazy mile also had nice soft powder. I didn't ski the bumps but from what I heard they were scratchy but still fun In the lot had some beers was actually colder in the hill then in the lot and I brought some WaWa soft pretzels which were kept in a cooler to keep from freezing solid. Yeah the winds got stronger and the sun came out. Our friend Ally who's a ski instructor chit chatted with us for awhile and provided some parking lot laughs and I stuck around till a little after 12...now back in the A and already up into the mid 20s but I believe it will be single number temperatures tonight so the good snowmaking will continue. Maybe I'll be back tomorrow night. Pretty fun day today.
  4. Wow is it a back tooth
  5. I still haven't had a waffle from the waffle cabin and Jackson hole has one at the top of the tram in corbetts cabin and I haven't had one there either. They have a peanut butter and bacon one that sounds good.
  6. I was calling Tuts lane the high traverse the other night funny but true lol. I always used to think it was named after king tut like at camelback but no it's actually named after the late owner Ray Tuthill. Reminds me of the Steve Martin song King Tut...born in Arizona moved to Babylonia King tut https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wgTPH5y1-ZI
  7. Have fun and dress like an astronaut.
  8. Phillycore you get your tooth taken care of. Sounds like you need a root canal. Dress warm tomorrow.
  9. Sounds like you are having a blast!!!!
  10. Nice pictures Ridge any lifelines and where are the conditions nice?
  11. Thanks for the updates sounds pretty good up at Elk!! 56.8 miles per hour what run was that on?? Don't think I hit over 45 mph at blue today. To many people and also snow wasn't particularly fast. When I'm 66 I think I'll ski at fast on groomers. Not in the chop
  12. This happened a year ago at Blue photo credit to Toast.
  13. No snow at blue was to far north and west.
  14. Forgot to mention that we hungout with Enjorales and his dad in the lot for awhile and Enjorales actually knows ILikeIceCream from the roller coaster community. He hasn't been out skiing the last few years because he had back surgery. The two times I skied with ILikeIceCream were definitely memorable was like 4 years ago.
  15. Hey all, I'm back from a fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. While it's easy to complain that razors and nightmare to Dreamweaver and switchback aren't open yet, on this date last year Blue mountain opened for the season the second time after a two day opening in late December. With 3+ weeks of skiing already in the books I was optimistic as I drove the 30+ minutes to Blue mountain the true mountain. When I arrived at 730am it was 18 degrees at the base under overcast sky's. In the house were Atomic Jeff, Ryan, Johnny Law, MBike Mike, Indiggio, Slim, George, TheDude4Bides and many others. First civilian chair at 801am and the guns were boxing on razors, sidewinder, Central Park, lower park and were lit up on nightmare to Dreamweaver shortly thereafter. First run on challenge delivered a nice coating of man made fresh over soft groomed snow and frosted over goggles which had me question whether I remembered to wear my contact lenses. By the top of the second lift ride, challenge was closed off for the race team and we hit up Main Street which was immaculate on the top half and not bad lower down except for the bee line of race groms flying down midway to lower Main Street to shuttle to home stretch. Repeat on Main Street then some paradise. The snow was alright and last turn is narrow. Lazy mile was crazy mile but decent snow. Then back to Main Street for more. By 9am lower Main Street was getting some serious chop from the mad sweet and low sugar. Back to paradise for more spiciness and lazy for more crazy and Main Street for more chippity chop. I didn't ski the bumps but heard they were bulletproof. Bundled up as a solid four layer player(to cold for faded grease stained purple polo) had some IPAs in the lot. Hop Ranch and Perpetual with some PASRs and was out of there before 1130am. No real lift lines to speak of and on the drive home saw that Whitehall and Allentown received a coating of new snow and I heard the Philly area was expecting 2-3" and 6" for the beach. The new snow in the flat lands might bring out some more people tomorrow but they better dress warm. Will be about 8 degrees tomorrow at the lower lot with blustery winds for boot up time. It's all good might have to add a mock turtleneck and balaclava to the mix tomorrow. Should still be decent mid winter conditions early and a lot of fun. JADIP And thanks for the slice of pizza Johnny law.
  16. Wow you're a bad ass. The last PASR day at frost we brought out the radar gun on Floyds and the patrollers weren't happy but it's a black diamond so nothing they could do about it.
  17. Do you have steezy pass??
  18. Only 6% don't get your panties in a bunch will be like an extra quarter.
  19. Rain likely Wednesday. I swear there's a conspiracy against TP4
  20. Don't think they've started blowing on it yet.
  21. You're right. I think last season Friday's were considered weekends there.
  22. No comment.
  23. How fucking stoned were you earlier??
  24. edit: I failed to mention that snow was being blown on lower park, Sidewinder and Razors and I think Widowmaker. A shame they aren't blowing on Nightmare to Dreamweaver yet. Maybe Razors will be open on Sunday more likely Monday or Tuesday.
