Ski2Live where did you grow up?

26 years ago today on January 4, 1991 was my first time skiing Blue mountain. I went with my middle school ski club and did the first time on skis package which was vista lift lesson and rental for $21. My first time skiing was two years before at Big Boulder with my dad but didn't get into skiing until I skied blue. That season I went 6 more times and by the following season was skiing black diamonds and had my own skis in 8th grade. So now whenever it's January 4th I remember that day.

Blue mountain. Not that cold. Teens for lows and 20s for highs and sunny.

Smuggs on the weekends can have long lift lines. Be forewarned.

You don't...the mountain will likely be closed for a few days for the snow to settle and for ski patrol to do Avy control and also lifts need to be dug out. When I lived in Bozeman Montana in 2003 it snowed 105" at Bridger bowl in 4 days and the mountain was closed for two days and one person died when they reopened. A skier fell head first and suffocated to death. That's to much of a good thing. I'll take 15-20" anyday.

Actually Mammoth is forecasted 12-16 feet

Maybe 1-2" for palmerton Thursday night.

My guess is he's dead. It's funny seeing the board index and seeing the old threads that guests and bots checkout. A shame all my threads from before about a year and a half ago were deleted.

Only 44 for the high tomorrow in the A but yeah looks like a decent amount of rain. Wednesday through the weekend looks like nice skiing and snowmaking weather. I might not be out again until Thursday night...

Skiing in the rain isn't bad. Now sleet..that is fucking miserable.

Yup I never had the power glove but I did have the power pad for track and field and super team games.
