What did they say on Facebook enjorales. Did they say what runs they post on. Just checked there Facebook. No mention of an opening date or what trails they are blowing on. If they get a top to bottom run open I'll go this weekend. Usually about $35-40 there opening day. They don't allow tailgating in the lot but can hit up barly creek afterwards.

Maybe on Friday last few years camelback only opened with their learning Hill. Enjorales you really think Wednesday. Last year camelback opened a day later than Blue. I don't recall a time when any local hills were open on thanksgiving day. Christmas yes for everywhere but blue. Enjorales is wishcasting.

Because hunter has even more lift capacity opening day than blue and more people and rude New Yorkers. Race team generally doesn't start until a week or two after opening day. This year it's December 10th. Last years opening day was on a Monday I believe so no race team. Oh and hunter is 200 miles away while Blue is 18 miles so if both are crowded at least I didn't spend 6-7 hours worth of driving for hunter.

Yup blue caters to rich philly, jersey and Lehigh valley people. Totally different demographic to montage. -
If you don't mind an overnight okemo should have several runs open this weekend. They usually do a canned food day thanksgiving weekend as well with discounted lift tickets with a can of food. Think that was usually on Sunday. Sorry okemo a food bank day is December 4th. $39 lift tickets with a can of food.

New Lift Ticket Pricing Model

They're definitely gonna lose business cause of this as people who paid $27 before aren't gonna want to pay $50-$60 for lift tickets. Blue did away with their morning passes a few years ago as well. -

You only went to montage once last year and zero times the year before but three times three years ago. I'm surprised you drive all the way to montage from south jersey when Blue is like an hour closer and the Catskills are pretty equidistant. -
Laurel Mountain to Reopen

I skied them in college back when there was like an 80" base. Was one of those 350" seasons. I've only skied Jay peak about five times. I always preferred the terrain better at Stowe and the fact that all the trees at Jay are on the trail map made them into rutted up mogul fields. -
What are Elk Mountain's 2016/2017 Improvements?

No way they will open this weekend and they don't have to open till mid December to try for the 100 days thing. -
About 36-48 hours of solid snowmaking. Not gonna happen this week probably not next.

Welcome back TNT its dynamite.

And the guns are off...they can start again with bare ground tonight and get decent production Tuesday night.
-
Wow I think this is the first time this fall camelback has even been mentioned. The winds are not good for snowmaking. Tuesday night looks like the best snowmaking conditions.

I have a feeling Jackson hole sponsored skier Jess McMillan passed me in the hobacks on the epic pow day last year at Jackson hole. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1014177741971801&id=415975465125368&_rdr -

Face chutes at Jay peak is not that crazy. Upper goat at Stowe when conditions are firm is way sketchier. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HNjJYzF_x-g -

Didn't Heavenly receive 30" when you were there last year. You reported that conditions were awesome. -

Well you stay in a hostel at killington and slopeside out west so not apples to apples. In Colorado and Jackson hole I pay $65-$80 a night for decent lodging. At Stowe fleabag motels are more than that.
