  1. You only went to montage once last year and zero times the year before but three times three years ago. I'm surprised you drive all the way to montage from south jersey when Blue is like an hour closer and the Catskills are pretty equidistant.
  2. I skied them in college back when there was like an 80" base. Was one of those 350" seasons. I've only skied Jay peak about five times. I always preferred the terrain better at Stowe and the fact that all the trees at Jay are on the trail map made them into rutted up mogul fields.
  3. No way they will open this weekend and they don't have to open till mid December to try for the 100 days thing.
  4. About 36-48 hours of solid snowmaking. Not gonna happen this week probably not next.
  5. Welcome back TNT its dynamite.
  6. And the guns are off...they can start again with bare ground tonight and get decent production Tuesday night.
  7. Wow I think this is the first time this fall camelback has even been mentioned. The winds are not good for snowmaking. Tuesday night looks like the best snowmaking conditions.
  8. I have a feeling Jackson hole sponsored skier Jess McMillan passed me in the hobacks on the epic pow day last year at Jackson hole. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1014177741971801&id=415975465125368&_rdr
  9. Face chutes at Jay peak is not that crazy. Upper goat at Stowe when conditions are firm is way sketchier. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HNjJYzF_x-g
  10. Didn't Heavenly receive 30" when you were there last year. You reported that conditions were awesome.
  11. Well you stay in a hostel at killington and slopeside out west so not apples to apples. In Colorado and Jackson hole I pay $65-$80 a night for decent lodging. At Stowe fleabag motels are more than that.
  12. Some areas in the poconos received 4-5". Apparently the roads up in hazleton last night were as slick as bat guano. We had thundersnow in Allentown and I missed it cause I was on the phone with my Montana buddy.
  13. Some of your ex wives...oh Lordy. Don't tell me you were also a contestant on the Love Connection.
  14. Yeah total microclimate between Main Street and vista...the NOAA used to have a weather station there but it was usually buried in pow pow....the cornice on the back side of the ski patrol shack exceeds 20 feet in La NiƱa years...put that in your half pipe and smoke it cha cha cha.
  15. Oh Lordy was just thinking it would be dumping at the peak but never thought in the vista pod wow just wow. How deep do you guys think it is on sky top. Anybody have snow shoes I can borrow...wooo this is great!!!!!
  16. On accuweather forecast for Mount pocono...low of 32 Wednesday..low of 35 and rain for Thanksgiving..low of 35 Black Friday...then lows of 26..25 and 24 next three days just like Sunday to Tuesday nights followed by above freezing. Very very marginal and lots of cloud cover which doesn't help as it means higher humidity, temperature doesn't fall as much and high wet bulb. We need clear calm nights.
  17. Almost time for bed Shadows. Big day tomorrow.
  18. I'm reading the accuwearher forums for the first time this season. Something I've missed. Accumulating west of here.
  19. Boom which spelled backwards is something I have lol. Lots of new PASRs since I last skied with you in 2010 Shit you were just a young grasshopper in the glory days of PASR. I remember your mom was on here as ShadowMom and she went on here and post if anybody saw Daniel. I saw Stevo a few years ago at Blue but he's not up there much. I remember you hooking me and Zonked up with your employee discount at Blue circa 2007.
  20. What are you talking about 16 year olds? Most of the ladies I hang with are mid to late 20s. I just try and have fun and enjoy life. I'm very professional at work. All my customers get white glove full service treatment. You know me from skiing with me years ago and from PASR. I'm like a frosted mini wheat. I have an adult side and a kid side. Serious side and fun side. Plus I'm a bit of a troll and savage as fuck and have no filter so sometimes get myself into trouble running my mouth at people.
  21. The land sale was around $10 million. I think $200 million is the amount of money that fedex is spending on the facility.
  22. Front is coming through temperature dropped 20 degrees in an hour. Lots of blue on the radar and a few sleet pellets mixed with sprinkles
  23. I'm super connected. My grandfather was on like twelve boards and head of rotary and board president of Allentown hospital. I couldn't imagine going to board meetings in the evenings after work but some people wanna act like they're important. That uncle is in commercial real estate. The 3900 Hamilton street building across from dorney park is his and that's where his office is. And their debt was 26 million back in the mid 90s due to a county settlement for taking a property that was supposed to be developed. They've whittled away their debt and made their last payment with the land sale to FedEx
