Because the tax base is really low. Home prices are lower though. A comparable house across the street in parkland is $30k more.

No Bethlehem people say that Potts is better than Yoccos. They're both good but most Allentown people like Yoccos better and Bethlehem people like Potts better. I've had this discussion in both Allentown and bethlehem. As for Easton I go to Wyoming more than Easton. Have no idea the hot dog scene over there.
